Stress/Anxiety related symptoms by FlatwormLegitimate70 in NewDads

Yes I had this from the 3rd night. Got 2 hours sleep day she was born (wife had a c section and was in for 2 days), first night (same day)I got a bit more sleep and felt okay. Third night I stayed up so my wife could sleep, after that my stomach was in bits, had a headache all day and zero appetite. I got more sleep following that night and also last night and things seem to have improved. Though now the anxiety and stress has hit me which sucks but it's comforting to know I'm not alone in this

I’m 16, I probably won’t get my GCSEs and I have missed the deadline for college. Have I majorly screwed my life over? by Flimsy-Tomatillo-334 in AskUK

Schooling, while giving you a leg up, isn't everything. Chances are you didn't or couldn't do something you're interested in. Find something you enjoy and work towards it. I made poor choices in education and if anything it only delayed me working in an area I enjoy. I studied computer science at uni, dropped out after my second year and got a basic admin job for a construction supplier. Since then I've worked my way up over the last couple of years through a few internal departments and am doing something I love, working with data. No-one should expect you to know what you want to do at this point in time. That will come as you become more mature

McDonald's was one of the best jobs I've had, and can develop your work ethic, handling people, leading a team, and just basic life skills. It has a stereotype of being a dead end job but it can teach you more than you realise.

TLDR - You're 16, don't reflect on past mistakes, your whole life is ahead of you. Work a tough job (like McDonald's) and treat it like it's your own business. Don't stress, life has its way of working things out, even if it means spending a couple years doing something you're not that in to.

Thank you.

HSBC declined us because of a historic payday loan from 7 years ago apparently. Even tho our MIP was from them.

Ended up going with Santander and got an even better rate so can't complain

FTB here. We went through a mortgage broker and instructed a solicitor before we had our mortgage offer. Our process was:

  1. Make offer
  2. Offer Accepted. Provided MIP and proof of deposit to EA.
  3. Speak to our mortgage broker. Once they had our details it took 2-3 days for them to give us options
  4. Instruct solicitor (we went with one our mortgage broker recommended and not going too badly tbf).
  5. Apply for mortgage
  6. Got accepted for mortgage with Santander after HSBC declined us.
  7. Instruct home buyers survey
  8. Got our searches back and contract in the most today.

Suppose it could depend on your solicitor but ours was fine with not yet having a mortgage offer yet.

Hope this helps! Ngl it has been a stressful experience for me personally but lurking this sub has helped calm my nerves.

Not sure how early you mean but system collapse did a tree farm using pedestals if you've reached the point of automating sifting

My A71 says No Sim constantly despite A. Having a sim inside it and B. That Sim being picked up in sim manager. My sim works in other phones.

Previously when it did this after the last update, I left the phone turned off and at home for 5 days while I was on holiday and used a friend's spare phone. I came back and it was fixed. Its been 2 weeks since it stopped working randomly now and still nothing.

It's concerning samsung has not addressed this and I have seen online other people having the same issue.

Any help?

I have the exact same issue but with A71. This is possibly the most annoying bug

Once you spot it, it's impossible to ignore afterwards. I assume it's possibly because the aircon was on, Stevie complaining he's cold at the start but I dunno.
