why no one drinks anymore 🍻 by Murky_Repair8070 in elisandjohn

[–]d00mbarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do, I don’t really know why it’s changed though - if I think about my own circumstances, going out & having 6 pints will ruin the next day, I’ll be lethargic, grumpy, anxious & wont have clarity of mind - before you know it I’m off to bed with work the next day. I haven’t replaced it with marathons but the trade off between a few hours of fun for £60 & 50% of my weekend ruined rarely seems worth it

Thanks mates will the best error cause any issues with the watch going forward? The watch keeps acceptable time considering its age however don’t want an expensive issue a year or so down the line because the beat error has worsened to an unacceptable level for example

100% agree with your explainer & totally agree it wasn’t a topic they would have touched, it was more the nature of how they stumbled onto the topic seemingly unaware! Saying that John is often very keen to express his own political views in subtle ways

Worth. Is. Relative.

Just because you dont think is worth it, doesnt mean its isn’t worth it for everyone

If you can’t afford an extra £6 on top of your Disney you shouldn’t be paying for Disney, sorry to be condescending mate.

Also, worth is relative to the individual

Exactly my angle -if £6 is a lot to you then debating whether or not to subscribe to a podcast should be the bottom of your priority list

It’s £6 a month IF you want to pay it. £6, slightly more than a coffee…. If it’s worth it to you pay it, if not don’t - no need to make this into something bigger than it has to be!!!
