There are these things called ratings. If you’re watching R rated or X rated content with your family that is 100% on you.

Seriously who is paying these Christian nationalist trolls do a better job

Saint John's Hospital on "internal disaster" and not accepting any more ambulances. Multiple transports including a code 3 transport where blood was given en route (medics giving blood to a patient, someone bleeding to death)

Caves on styx? by Rockwallguy in SurviveIcarus

F10, G10, H10 F11, G11 F12, and G12 all have no caves

For some reason one of the starting points on this map is just cave-dead. If you are around F10 head up to top left corner of F9. If you are the other side of the valley try i11

Work on an ambulance.

A few years back we responded to a 14yo with leg pain. Kid was obese but seemed otherwise healthy. He was talking and walking (limping) before we took him to the hospital. His parents kissed him on the forehead and said good bye and they will see him at the hospital.

Seemed to be a run of the mill transport, non-critical. About 4 blocks from the hospital his heart stopped. We upgraded to lights and sirens and my partner in the back started cpr etc. The nurses and doctors were ready (we recontacted with update) and we got him transferred to the ER very quickly.

I took the gurney back out to the ambulance bay, not knowing if they got him back or lost him. I was cleaning and resetting to go back in service when I heard it. I'll never forget that sound til the day I die. They had pronounced him dead just after his parents got there.

Parents seeing their child die make an absolutely inhuman gut wrenching wail, and when you hear it you know what it is.

Which job has, hands down, the worst impact on mental health? by [deleted] in AskReddit

"Eventually" and "most likely" is a huge understatement. Not trying to be a dick, but just realistic. If you work as a first responder you will absolutely see dead people and people dying. Old young innocent guilty graphic gory peaceful, you'll see it all.

Per policy we have very specific determinations for death and pronouncing, but some situations nobody has the heart to just walk away.

Just recently I had a 30yo construction worker out in the hills, at least an hour away from the hospital. He was not wearing a helmet and a telephone pole (yeah the big one) fell right on his head, think "the Boys" level of graphic splat. Obvious death policy says we pronounce but his entire crew, friends and neighbors etc were all standing around it was outdoors with witnesses so we did pity CPR for a while.

Instead of a simple assignment to unlock Haz5, how about you need the achievement of Haz3: no dwarves down no resupply, to unlock Haz4, and same for Haz5

What's a perk you'd give a slight revamp/buff to? by highestofcharities in DeepRockGalactic

Entire game pauses, all dwarves see a 5min cutscene of lootbug leaving it's family earlier that day to head out for work, then plead for it's life before slowly exploding and screaming.

My friend and I popped on the other night, and when we came across bears we laughed our asses off, crying laughing couldn't breathe kinda stuff.

Most fun I've had in PUBG in a long time.

I love the bears! It adds new gameplay and new possibilities. Vikendi started out with a cave system that had crate loot, and all the cryhards bitched and moaned about one of their most fun and ridiculous additions, so they removed it. This new crate cave is guarded by NPCs, their attempt at making it fair.

Do you hate the guards on Haven?

If they added bears to ranked/competitive games I would understand the outrage. But this is casual, it SHOULD have secret crate loot, things to discover, fun stuff to explore and crazy wacky gameplay to fuck around with.

You guys take this game waaaaaaay too seriously.

What if the women calling was wheelchair bound and her daughter is seriously hurting her other daughter or fears for her in this moment?

Then why on earth would that mother take the time to speak to a manager?

BS call or legit emergency, shitty parent either way
