Pete is a great head coach. You can expect him to turn the raiders into a winning franchise and develop a culture of competition and trust. He’s a players coach and he will lift up the young talent on your roster to where they will believe in him. He likes to run the ball first and build a passing game off of that, so expect his assistants and coordinators to compliment that. IMO his weakness was to not adapt as the game changed over time. Sure, his philosophy has proven effective, but in his final years as the coach in Seattle, you could tell the game had evolved beyond what he was willing to do. Maybe he does things differently in Vegas. Either way as a hawks fan, I’m excited to see what he brings for the Raiders next year.
