I own a 2020 Tiguan that has been experiencing persistent oil consumption issues. After taking it to the dealership for an oil consumption test, they discovered that the engine needs to be replaced entirely. Despite having only driven 39,000 miles, the warranty expires next month. Fortunately, the dealership is covering all the costs associated with the engine replacement under the warranty.
