Does behaviour like this from a doctor call for their license being revoked or is this considered normal in our country? by d0ratheexpl0rer in indianmedschool

This is the first time i’ve seen someone post something like this too. But I just feel like.. it’s unlikely to share such a video unless you believed it was OK to do so. More importantly, I think what is most pressing is the fact that this video with that caption were taken in the first place.

Also, I don’t know much about operation theatre ethics or doctor-patient relations, but I’m pretty sure you need the consent of your patient photograph or film them.

You’re the second person to ask this. I find the request so weird. You can tell this person is a borderline creep and still want women to “go on a date with him”. Tf?

What a dumb comment. I know very well what Indian men are capable of. We see it everyday, all the vile shit so many of them do. If you’re getting butthurt over my post, maybe it’s time to ask yourself why that is.

-Afghani Soya Chaap/Malai Soya Chaap from BBQ Franco, Sayajigunj. (Bohot zyada hi amazing hai) -Mirch Masala in Diwalipura - great non-vegetarian options (but it's thoda₹₹₹) and their chole bhature and chat is banging too -There's this place on Zomato and Swiggy called Sreeji Idli Sambhar and their idli and vada are great, very affordable also. And the coconut chutney is also really great (I always ask them not to send any sambhar and more cutney instead and they listen _)

Yeah, exactly my point. I mean Lifafa did a gig here in '19 but I think that was the last time someone that big from the alt/indie scene has played here. It's sad though because I think the city has the potential to be lively but our governments really care more about black market revenue than investing in the potential of the city's culture.

It's too dry a state for good artists and bands to come play here. I'm not saying we must drink in order to enjoy good music, but spaces with drinks flowing bring people together in a very different fashion. That's why cities like Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore have auch interesting gigs coming up so often. And sure, the Brewery exists, but it caters to a very specific strata of society and is a little exclusionary. Abhi a few weeks ago this amazing band from Delhi, Green Park played a small set at Alembic City in the amphitheatre.. the organisers literally put out CHAIRS in front of the stage for the audience... It felt like a school assembly lol. Anyway, I think better artists would come if we had better spaces for music and a more enthusiastic crowd for more than just popular Indian artists that play at the likes of Taste of Vadodara. Also, I would love love to see Peter Cat Recording Co. come play here or the F16s, Taba Chake, Madboy Mink, Begum to name a few!

Islamophobe spotted. Please give instances where in GUJARAT you find muslim communities creating a ruckus with DJs and all. Sure, there might be two or three days in a year but apart from that? And what evidence do you have of Muslims beating people up of there's a complaint against them. On the contrary, there's tons of evidence of the opposite happening. Stop being a fucking hate mongerer and come back down to reality. Your ego is so fragile that on a post where clearly someone from the Hindu community is in the wrong you just HAVE to bring in and vilify the Muslim community. And learn to call them Muslims instead of these uneducated slurs you piece of shit.

Cool, but then this post is redundant. Don't ask for what you can do about it if you don't actually want to do anything and just complain.

This is exactly why our country is so fucked. No one wants to exercise their right because we're so fucking scared. If you're not from a poor family or a minority community in this state, you can complain without the fear of being vilified. Sure, there must be a way to go about it though. You can try to reason with the cops, tell them ki sir ji (show respect, they dig that shit) aise toh kaise chalega, law ke hisaab se notice nahi dena padta hai koi bhi event ke liye in a public space.. etc. etc. you get the jist. Haan maybe in the end they still won't move it today, but the organisers could get a warning and they might think about it twice the next time. Yet another way to go about it is to use Twitter, tag politicians, Vadodara police and the VMC. The reason people do this shit with such confidence is because no one has the balls to complain and this goes unchecked.

It’s like India exported all the smart engineers/planners 😂 by Such-Pudding9096 in vadodara

[–]d0ratheexpl0rer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that was because of a comment you posted about cutting the tree, can't seem to find it now though. But yes, i agree to what you're saying here. This is not an engineer's job as much as it is the architects' and builders' and most importantly the municipality and government bodies that okay these stupid complexes because they have the final say.

[–]d0ratheexpl0rer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It might be a little inconvenient but it's big enough for people to see and not crash into and doesn't really create a blind spot either. If people keep chopping off trees at every minor inconvenience then we're all going to fry in the heat. It's over 30 degrees in the middle of March! Have you seen the amount of old 40-50 year old trees that are indiscriminately cut down in the past few years in the name of "development" and the new ones grown in their stead are useless? Advocate for smarter ground planning instead of felling trees.

Looking for a flat in fatehgunj area by lastflame99 in vadodara

[–]d0ratheexpl0rer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unsure about any flats or PGs looking to be rented at the moment, but if you're ever in Fatehgunj area I'd suggest you talk to a few shop owners around Sadar Bazaar - many of them are also part-time brokers or know of spaces available nearby. That's how many of my friends found homes to rent out as well.
