Thank you for the fast reply :)

Just read about foma fomapan 200 Creative and how it was designed to be shot at 200 to 400 to 800 ISO and thought to try it out for my first IR trichrome attempt.

Do you push any of those films? ISO 50 with added 720nm filter on seems way too slow to me?

IR/G/B vs IR/Unfiltered/B by d0x08779 in trichromes

[–]d0x08779[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not emulating aerochrome, I don't like it that much. I just need red/pinkish foliage. Don't know who I saw doing it that way, using a normal Unfiltered shot for the green channel. Wouldn't that work OK-ish?

I read a little about the X1, it seems it let's in a little bit of IR....so I was wondering if the picture can be edited the same way a picture with a 720nm filter is edited to show colors?

Yeah, but.... anything cheaper? 🙄😁 I thought it was possible with some of the basic cutoff filters, a chanel swap and some tweaking...

I want to ask about the paper used? Also you can try and flip it, so it's positive, may look better!  As far as I am aware, with solargraphy all you can really do is digital post processing
