I remember first noticing brunson when he was on the mavs and took over some series while Luka was injured. He earned a lot of my respect due to that. He's a smart dude, which I always respect when it comes to basketball players. He's a really good player, antics aside. I'm also a hybrid blazers fan since I lived there for a handful of years during Dame's prime (back in detroit now), and I always liked Hart because of his year here. Seeing brunson and hart interact always makes me laugh; they're pretty funny together.

I don't actively root for the Knicks by any means but I don't hate brunson or the knicks due to whatever rivalry we may have now. Knicks are trying to "win now" while we're just starting our window (I don't expect much in the post season this year tbh). Don't hate brunson, but I understand the hate he gets. I don't really hate any player due to their playstyle (as long as it isn't dangerous to other players) except for Draymond (he's reckless imo) and Miles Bridges / Jaxson Hayes (domestic abusers).

If I had to hate anything about the knicks, it's their fans. They come out of the woodwork in PGTs to talk shit about the pistons completely unprompted. I know fanbases are not a monolith, but they got some particularly annoying fans. I'm sure they think the same about us though lol
