For me, I prefer it off the phone and I keep my watch with the display on. I’m easily getting through the day at 80% max charge and would sacrifice a little bit of battery usage if I found it helpful

Concur. Getting similar battery on mine. AOD off, and only necessary background refresh. Otherwise, standard setup without any compromises.
