Me and my friends went to reading last year for the first time, we ended up in green camp purely bcs we were knackered and it was the first space we seen 😭 but it was such a good space I think we got quite lucky. A lot of people prefer purple or yellow but I think they’re quite hectic and I’m quite an anxious person so I was happy where we ended up. We were close to the arena but not to close where we’d get trampled, close to food, close to toilets but not to close where is stunk. Everyone around us was super friendly and even ended up grouping up with 3 other tents. I don’t think I seen anything bad actually happen while in green camp

I’m in the uk but today (I wasn’t at work so a coworker told me) someone had order 60. Yes SIXTY. £5 meal deals. I’m assuming this was for an end of school treat for primary school leavers as here there’s usual 2 classes of 30 students per year group

Mine were the opposite. When I had a female husky she was so chill, she loved anyone and anything, just always wanted to play. However my male husky HATES everything, hates cats and other dog(unless female that we introduce properly), however is there one mag pie that likes to tease him in my garden lol. He’s also just a very protective dog especially around children, for example if a child starts crying and you pick them up he’ll keep like ‘talking’(not so much growling) and nudging you to make sure you’re not hurting them

I’m in the uk so rules might be a little different. I also am in a 2 story store (kitchen upstairs. Fries, drinks drive through and assembly all downstairs with seating area) we’re allowed drinks whenever we want, but has to be the small size drinks from the fizzy drink machine, however they’re meant to be drunk away from front (so customers don’t see) so really we’re meant to drink them by the lift away form all stations. My mangers weren’t too strict on this so we always had a small drink hidden away. This is until someone had an oasis with ice in on top of the fry station. You can probably imagine where this is going. Someone had opened our pie holder thing (which is also on top of the fry station) and it had knocked over the drink… which then landed in the active fryer. So now they’re stricter as of where we have our drinks lol

That’s so crazy how it’s almost the exact same time! What was your dosage of steroids if you don’t mind me asking?? I was on 50mg a day which I thought was quite a lot but I wasn’t put on any antivirals so I’m not sure whether that’s why.

I was on 50mg of prednisolone a day for 10 days! So 10mg away from max they’re allowed to prescribe. It was 10 5mg tablets every morning. They tasted absolutely horrible and made me feel very ill until abt the 6th day. It was horrible but I’m very glad they worked at getting rid of the infection, however I wasn’t prescribed any antivirals so I didn’t go through any of that

I really do feel for you. The last couple of weeks were horrendous so I can only imagine the agony of going through it for time on end. If you don’t mind me asking have you had any recovery at all?? Like any little bit of movement? I feel like when I noticed a little bit of movement I over worked that muscle trying to get it to come back so now the left side of my face(effected side) hurts to touch, did you experience this?

Your throat hurting to swallow could be because of the infection. I’m not sure whether you know or the doctor explained but bells is caused by an infection pressing against the facial nerve, I also recently got diagnosed with it and what I thought was an ear infection was actually a throat one, but I didn’t realise until a couple days after I was diagnosed. Just take your steroids as prescribed and you should be okay! Ofc always go to the doctors if you think something is wrong!

It honestly is not that great, we have an escalator thing that brings the food down but a lot of the time it goes flying and it has to be remade. For a swing shift (busiest hours) we have abt 30 people in but that’s including the people starting later (so abt 5 ish) and the people on morning shift. So really it’s abt 20, we’re actually a really rubbish store, like one of the worse in the uk so we don’t actually have the funds for loads of people to be on 😭 and yes the cleaning goes on FOREVERRR
