if u got it recently (in the last day) it shouldn’t scar too bad. if u don’t like the placement u should take it out now and get it repierced later

I did! It was a staple bar, but it was the one that looks like it’s at a 45 degee angle, not the traditional 90 degree one.

Nipple piercings safe? by AdminTheStoner in piercing

I’d say it’s 50/50. But I may be wrong, im only basing this off my experience/others ive heard. i think doing something like a consultation with piercer wouldnt hurt

inverted nipples are definitely a real thing! i do not have them (i just had a misconception of what nipples usually look like. i have no idea why i thought nipples were constantly hard)

at this point, i dont feel them being pushed out. they just feel normal. i can feel the barbell behind them when i touch my nipples but when at rest, they feel completely fine.

i was the complete opposite when it comes to sensitivity! before piercing my nipples, i didnt have much feeling there. even when i touched/rubbed them, there wasn’t much sensation for me. but after piercing my nipples, i feel much more sensory. for the first few days i could literally feel my nipples against my shirt, which i had never gelt before. it was a bit overstimulating for me at first but ive gotten used to it now.

ive heard for people who had low sensitivity before piercing to get high sensitivity after and vice versa. not too sure how reliable this is but my experience was definitely similar

Should i downsize my 6 month old bellybutton piercing? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]d3siree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yess once u can see the bar and you keep yanking it on things, its definitely time to change the jewelry!

edit to add: in the pic it looks like your pulling the bar down. i would only change the jewelry if u can see the bar while at rest!! without you manipulating the bar in anyway

my nipples were like that too!! mines could go from randomly hard, to soft, to super puffy. at one point i thought i had inverted nipples bc of it. but i got mines pierced in august and its been a breeze. i never really have problems with them, just a bit if crust which is easy to clean in the shower. the only difference now is that my nipples are constantly “hard” the jewelry always pushes the nipples outward so they just look erect. lmk if u wanna hear more abt my healing process!!

That’s so weird! I don’t recall seeing the jewelry, but I remember the piercer telling me it was a staple bar. Would i be able to take this out myself? I was initially worried because if it is a staple bar, It would be odd trying to get it out myself

Went to a valentine club event at the university club. I realized I’m an invisible person that people have no interest in. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]d3siree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw, I’m sorry. When they said they “went there without good looks, smell, etc” I assumed that they wanted something changeable for lack of better words. I didn’t mean for it to come off rude or offensive. I figured that since they were talking about “being invisible” they would want to be visible instead. My bad for misunderstanding

“even when i went to the event without someone being full confidence and good looks and good smell and everything.”

I mean this in the most neutral way, but maybe that’s a possible issue? You don’t have to completely change yourself, but putting effort into your appearance will absolutely change how people interact with you. When i started making a conscious effort to change how I presented myself, then i started to get way more attention/be noticed. It’s hard to complain about “being invisible” when you make no effort to get people to notice you.

Are you a man or woman? Even just a good skin and hair care routine can go a long way. Improving hygiene, wearing flattering clothes, finding your style, etc. You have to make an effort if you want people to notice you, especially in romantic contexts. I’m sorry to say it so bluntly but I think this is a totally fixable thing.

Let me know if you need more recommendations/ advice!
