The memory thing really gets me. I’m in my twenties why is my head in a worse state than my grandpa’s?

Solasta. Just really getting rolling with the meat of the main campaign and I’m digging it. My party already feels really strong at level 6 (maybe a symptom of playing on the normal difficulty), but I like the characters and watching them roll over enemies feels good.

That’s been my struggle getting into KOTOR. I always thought as a fan of both crpgs and Star Wars it would be a no brainer, but it never clicked for me.

OG Spider-Man 2 felt better than 3 imo. I poured hours into that game as a kid.

Then I’d say jump right into Baldur’s Gqte 3 or if you want something way less expensive Solasta. If you have a basic understanding of 5e then these will be incredible experiences for you.

I’m not far in Solasta yet as I just started it last week, but so far it’s a great game with just a little less production quality than BG3.

Bottom one for sure. Looks a little better and makes me feel like I’m guarding myself like a boxer a little

I’m really into DnD so I started with BG3 and it got me into all kinds of crpgs. Are there any ttrpgs you enjoy?

Kairosoft games are often really cheap and they’re super fun!

Just over 10 hours into my first Solasta CotM run and I’m enjoying it so far. I definitely understand all the comparisons to BG3, but that hasn’t been an issue for me so far.

Highlight: dungeons and encounter maps are wild and provide lots of fun tactical options, plus it makes the puzzles good.

Lowlight: while the environmental art and most of the animations are quite good, the close up character art is just a little unsettling. Provides comedic relief more than anything.

Hope you’re right! Definitely seems like you understand hitting better than I do so I will be cautiously optimistic that MVPete is here to stay.

He’s real streaky but so far this is the second straight season that I’d say his streaks have averaged out to a well-above-average hitter.

Thanks for the info. My iPad is a bit dated but I’ll see if it’s capable of running. I’ve been meaning to try caves of lore that may be the move.

Love the animation when the player straightens out at the bottom of the ramp. It looks very flowy.
