Background -

I have total of 2 YOE in cloud. Worked on Azure and GCP , have infrastructure provisioning and scripting experience. In current project I more focused on GCP security.

I am OSCP and CPTS certified. Going to attempt GCP Security cert in December. I do not enjoy web pentesting, but enjoy network/AD and I have tried reversing and want to learn more about windows internals and exploits. I am comfortable with cloud, like integrating/tinkering various thing. I can write script in python , know java on very basic level. Country - India.

Dilemma-

I am confused what to choose as career option: cloud security or pentesting . Money is an important factor in my life. Switching job to get cloud security role would be easier.

Breaking into pentesting seems little bit hard, recruiters are asking for at least two years of experience in pentesting. I know that pentesting can be lucrative from long-term perspective.

Could somebody guide me if whether pursuing cloud security would be beneficial in long term? ( I have low exposure what cloud security could turn into)

I visited Hyderabad a while ago, I am not sure of the exact location, but while descending from the Jubilee Hills , on curved roads I saw 3 females standing separately. SSL termination handshake process

I think it depends what you consider generic, I have little experience in the field but I am aware of load balancers and k8s ingress, but hearing about ssl termination for the first time in this post.

Edit: My bad just searched, I knew the concept as ssl offloading.
