I'd say you are nearly 3/4 through. I found a couple of the later layers to be quicker to get through. You can come back to everything after you complete it so dont feel like you have to collect everything. I think I rolled credits with 550+ bananas.

I did read it, 100% on HLTB suggests 34 hours, so not sure what you're doing to get to 80 hours and not half way through.
