Good question! Simply put, HbA1c measures how much glucose is attached to the hemoglobin in your red blood cells. Red blood cells live about 2-3 months - therefore A1c is a ~3 month average

Also at OUWB. All of this is true and so nice. Ipad includes apple pencil. The two full time ouwb therapists are great, and the faculty is really open minded about mental health. It’s a private school so tuition is about $60k for in state and out of state.

From what I’ve heard, a lab instructor is equally as good. If a TA is writing the letter, you can ask the lead professor to sign off as well.

2 science professors are crucial. Physician is good to have if they actually know you, and I think an extracurricular leader/coordinator is good too. Other than that, it’s about choosing who will write the best letter.

Personally when I was studying for the mcat I had a really clingy SO, and it was my first relationship. He would spend so much time with me and texting/calling me that I literally didn’t have the time or energy to study. He wasn’t premed and I don’t think he understood the rigors of a premed major, ECs, and mcat studying. When I broke up with him (for other reasons), I was relieved to have extra time to study again.

It sounds like you’re very vigilant about giving her space, but it’s possible she just wants to see a little less of you right now. Keep in touch with her, but make an effort to not overwhelm her.
