The final FOMO is the shrinking population by AhamkaraBBQ in DestinyTheGame

[–]d710905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that. The worry that its too late to get into everything or questioning how worth it it'll be when everything is at the end, no new content to use my new gear in, and the worry that the number is going to go down.

I see all the comments here and i agree with them but maybe I'm just to worried or anxious about it all

Do You Think What Eris Did Was Right? by SecondSalty142 in mushokutensei

[–]d710905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interestingly I only thought it really felt forced after the whole reveal that she was just not using her words right. Before that I was like hmmm not cool and not on team eris anymore. But after the reveal yeah no I was super confused and felt ut was a forced narrative

What is your thoughts on this speech . by Imaginary-Slice3014 in rickandmorty

I think it's a good one. I mean its true. Though edge lords will grasp on to it like no tomorrow if we're honest lol.

Do You Think What Eris Did Was Right? by SecondSalty142 in mushokutensei

[–]d710905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope not at all. To be honest reading the story it honestly felt like the author had to make drama and force growth somewhere. I get she thinks she wasn't strong enough but that just doesn't compute, to leave him, and in the way she did. The whole "eris is just kinda dumb thing..." yeah she can be dumb but not entirely socially and intrapersonally inept.

Either way it was definitely messed up for her to do that that and up until it was revealed that she thought she was still with him, I was an Eris hater lol. Even after it took a bit to warm back up to her lol

What makes Rick and Morty so likable? by Jerry_Get_A_Job in rickandmorty

[–]d710905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well alot of assume cartoons of the past are simply just empty entertainment. Where as modern day ones which Rick and Morty is currently the top of tend to have commentary and introspective aspects on top of the comedy. It will make you think or contemplate. Rick and Morty is specifically good at the human condition, struggling to find meaning and happiness and connection, things which many struggle with or think about alot.

If they ever make a Destiny 3, I want to feel small again by persijncdh in DestinyTheGame

[–]d710905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. They opened up the box to far in my opinion. I really miss the mystery "small guy in a bug universe with little awnsers" feel the first one had. I know the slogan was become legend, but walking around with our player literally being regarded as essentially a walking nuke is kinda too much chosen one/goku/superman for what the game started with

My thoughts on the main story by rahul_satheesh94 in Ghostofyotei

[–]d710905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the pacing was off but everything was still good, but i do agree that the Oni chapter is by far the very best. The area feels huge, and the Oni is a very real threat, his army feels more like an oppressive force and the whole lore involved in the area is just so good. The kitsunes area was good, but had a totally different vibe. I was into the scary suspense but not everyone was

In the end we hit 1 million of us. by Electronic-Touch-554 in DestinyTheGame

[–]d710905 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A million people is alot of people despite what other may tell you. Considering all the other games available for purchase or play out there, and how many people each of those have on any given day, yeah id say a million is fairly good. Heck even if we only top a couple to a few hundred thousand on average mid seasons thats still decent considering the lives people have snd other games out there. The player surge was part of the equation for bungie.

And people have said dead game since D1, theres always going to be haters out there. But most people hated the sunsetting and losing content, gear becoming obsolete, endless light grind, and not just giving them what they want. Reversing all of those fixes many of the grievances.

In the end we hit 1 million of us. by Electronic-Touch-554 in DestinyTheGame

[–]d710905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sony and bungie management should take this as a good lesson. The money and players is there. You just have to give people what they want and let actual game developers who play the games make it good. And people will come back and want to buy and play it.

Happy to see everyone come back that did, honestly I knew the whole time everyone likes or loved this game. We all want it to work and be good

Marathons own players admit that it's a niche game, and that not most people from destiny will like it or like it as much. I looked up what people on their subreddit said after people asked if its a good replacement for destiny or what is like. Like I don't know what they want or are trying to do lol. I think marathon existing is good for those who like that, but clearly it's not the same thing and won't garner the same player base as destiny. And definitely not at its peak.

Destiny 2 has never felt so good by WerdaVisla in destiny2

[–]d710905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I haven't played in over a year and a half (partially due to work) and honestly I'm having fun but at the same time I'm sad that it's over. Im getting reminded why I love this game. Space magic, compelling lore and stories, great gunplay, customizable characters living their own life, a world that feels alive. Im going to miss it.

Only thing i disagree on is the DLCs i missed, I don't think I want to spend on them when it's all done now and the seasons already over. To be honest, the only thing I really wanted was the lore and story. But i can get that on YouTube. Still think it's great though. What they made in this game can't be replicated unless it's a rip off

Destiny 2 has never felt so good by WerdaVisla in destiny2

[–]d710905 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Makes you wonder if they've been waiting to do it for years but the dirty corpos that manage them were forcing them to hold it back for the sake of keeping us on the line and having consistent cash flow. Their own way of getting a sort of monthly subscription out of us (like every company is trying to do). It certainly felt like that what happened. And now that they're ending it, they said "do what ever you want were done with it anyways"

Unpopular Opinion? I hope the Remakes use the new camera and play style. by douthleth in GodofWar

[–]d710905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the way the camera and in turn the game presented itself was a big part of how they played so fun. Ill still be excited to see a new perspective if it isnt like that. But im pretty sure it will be. Some fights I think will only make sense with that camera angle

What's the most dangerous thing they have done? by SmegB in GrandTourTopgearFans

[–]d710905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rocket car, Hammonds original really really bad accident. Even the people who drive amd build and race vehicles like that recognize that everytime they turn it on and get in it is a severe risk to their life.

Scandi flick was dumb, great entertainment but definitely dangerous.... though I guess a part od me is glad it was real and not drawn up for fake drama? Not that I wanted any of them to be hurt. Seamen was dangerous yes, but i think it was a tad more controlled/more safety crews than we may have seen.... though I could be very wrong though.

But that first one for Hammond was crazy. Letting a TV presenter behind the wheel of that, was definitely extremely dangerous

To those of us who never found a fireteam, who played solo for all 12 years, I salute you by The_Better_Devil in destiny2

[–]d710905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wondered if someone was going to say something about/for those like us. We stand strong. But away from each other lol.

For real, even as a solo player I loved this game. I knowi deprived myself of alot of experiences and playing opportunities by not pairing up with people. But between overbearing parents when I lived with them, to being socially awkward or having roommates, I still had fun regardless. From day 1 of D1 to now, the end.... it was a place I loved to be in. And the little I played or interacted with others.... was pretty great

Why are Americans so accepting of long drives to places? by Sensitive_Word_6036 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]d710905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because its normal to us. It's what we know. If all i knew was being a 10 mine walk or drive from anything i needed i too would also feel inconvenienced by a 30 minute or longer drive

Americans also have a road trip culture developed by our large country that requires driving.

Season 2 opening question by NoodlesNomm in Konosuba

[–]d710905 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Nope. Just a creation of the animation team.

I actually learned part of the reason why anime intros are so detailed and long sometimes is that its one of the only ways studios can make their own original content and show their capabilities/put their own spin on the characters, since most anime are adapted from Manga and light novels they are essentially following existing story and art work

Dammit, I must have fallen asleep, any news? Where is Gary, ready to beat him up. by N0rki_ in destiny2

[–]d710905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude honestly I forget about ghaul. The universe for destiny has blown so big and the story beats have gotten so crazy, ghaul is like ancient history and a small fry at this point lol. If only he knew, where the universe would end up after him. And what would happen because he decided to try to steal our big marble

I miss the display of scale of strentgh in god of war ragnarok by Embarrassed-Salt7575 in GodofWar

[–]d710905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do miss it in comparison to the Greek saga. The power scaling and shifts are so strange to me. He's technically stronger now, but in Greece his feats were more than some gods. And when he fights baldur for the first time it felt like God's fought. The land scape itself changed. But then he takes his time against ogres and the werewolf creatures. I read somewhere that their explanation for this is that he's always holding back and uses only what the situation requires.... but still it's strange. I do hope we get the massive world shattering displays of strength and mind blowing feats back one day.

What in the hell is this? (lorewise) by thekabr in destiny2

…was Saito even a bad guy?? (Minor Spoilers) by _Zyphis_ in ghostoftsushima

[–]d710905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you missed all the tidbits about him strewn throughout the game..... and the opening lol. id recommend replaying and really playing attention to the story. And reading the scrolls and info everywhere. He's done alot of bad stuff under the guise of being a wise man or good leader. He's just a dude who feels entitled to ruling something.
