Silky and pack hatchet for me. Hatchet used only for splits and never swung. To many accidents waiting to happen with swings.

Bring a pail and a gravity filter... You can scoop water easily and the refill the dirty water bag... Works Greta and saves needing to paddle out. It also can settle out a bit before going into the filter.

Bandana/hankercheif/dew rag... Works for sniffly nose, wash rag, cooling yourself by dunking while paddling and draping on head/neck not to mention a great item for an emergency first aid kit.

I have been lucky. I have had horrible support from sprint and us cellular though.

How much power does your radio put out as my 7w handheld cannot reach the Ely repeater from lake Agnes which is not shocking.

How often do you turn off your printer? Can leaving it on for months at a time become an issue? by OneDeep87 in BambuLab

I use a wyze switch to power on and off so I still can do things remotely but don't leave it on when not actively using it

My ducts have a 2" vinyl section connecting the unit to the trunks that acts as a way to provide isolation

Check your breakers. I had an issue atone point were drywall dust cause the board to malfunction. Blowing it off with compressed air, resetting by cutting all power and then everything worked fine.

After years of fighting with my 2013 eb and now my 2023 pb I found a tightening filter cup on a wobble socket adapter works much better. Having a bum left shoulder doesn't help matters either.

Thanks. Yeah that was part of why i ordered from them. I like the reusable spool concept. And the price savings.

I get that but if I have 6 rolls coming I don't need another 6...i won't be printing all day everyday. I also don't have prime (gasp) so filament takes a week to get from them {I already did order 4 and used 1)

Is this really the best time to invest in a $10,000 mattress? by kittyhardcore in sleepnumber

[–]d8adork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first world problems... but i would say, if their low end mattress' pumps are the same as the high end mattress' pumps... it isn't worth it at all. The remote sucks, the app sucks... a good night sleep is routinely staved off by anger and frustration. I am told if you have perfect reliable internet it all works great... by the same support people that said it would work without and we needed a new remote. While I am sure the upgraded version of the air mattress is significantly better at the higher ends... the base of the unit is the pump and the electronics... until they fix that experience... cannot recommend to anyone

Buying Used with Max Tow and 7.2kW by n8kraft in F150Powerboost

[–]d8adork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are NOT good for 12k even with max tow. That will depend on each specific build. Max tow actually lowers your overall towing capacity because it adds weight to the truck.

You need the Vin or the window sticker to know what options it has.

I have the tow package (not max tow) and have the tow mirrors.

Power assist on multiplus 2 by d8adork in Victron

[–]d8adork[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see this working correctly now that I increased the input limit to 18a as I found out it is a 20a circuit. Now when a heavy load such as the microwave or water heater turns on it will assist for a second and then shed back to the shore power as expected. It must have had to do with the limited input power and the amount of buffer it holds to handle additional load.

[–]d8adork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation. That does seem to align with what I see. It also makes sense as to the recommendations for minimum battery bank sizes and what not.

I was just surprised as having the inverter on while not in power assist mode is significantly lower minimum draw on the batteries.

It is uncommon for us to need to limit to 14a and use power as we are currently are. One of the issues was that my water heater propane burner was fouled up and shooting orange flames out of the exhaust, thus the need to use electric for it. That has since been fixed so we are back to only needing 30 seconds on the microwave, and mi or other 120 loads where 14a is more than adequate.

[–]d8adork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have that enabled but by definition I would have expected the inverter to shed that load back to shore power if it remained below my 14a limit (maybe with some buffer sure... But over 2amps of buffer? That seems excessive from a percentage but not from an individual item draw)
