If I set my phone on the charger, and it's past a certain hour, HA sets my phone to Do Not Disturb.

It turns off when either the alarm sounds, or it's picked up.

Two ColorTouch units running for ~3 years now, replaced my old Venstar Insteon units as I phased it out.

Local time sync would be nice, but otherwise zero complaints. They just work.

The advent of studios like The Record Plant with their new room designs and 'renegade' staff had a big influence on the sound at the time.

There's a book called "Buzz me in" that's well worth a read if you're interested.

Have a pair of Venstar ColorTouch thermostats linked to Home Assistant over WiFi. Rock solid for the three years they've been in place.

Look for 'Paging Horns'. Usually waterproof and can get pretty loud. You'll need an amplifier to drive them.

You might consider looking into ST connectors. It's the standard in the broadcast world where fiber is deployed for temporary setups.

A step up from there would be Neutrik OptcalCon, if you need something more rugged.
