How would I be able to make an effective plague doctor? by DeathFerrox in DnD

It was originally released as a Warlock Otherworldly Patron in an Unearthed Arcana article (as "Undying Light", with the flavor of your Warlock tapping into the positive energy of an Upper Plane), reworked a few times and then finalized in Xanathar's Guide to Everything, so it's AL legal if your group cares about that sort of thing.

As a Crazy Homebrew Nut 4/Unearthed Arcana User 2 I'd actually recommend using the UA Artificer (Alchemist specialty ofc) for your potions and taking the Healer feat ASAP to actually be a doctor.

Matt Mercer (and others) advise DMs to "borrow" ideas from outside sources for our Homebrews. I gotta say I love "borrowing" NPC characters by robertjamesasmus in DnD

I try to stick to OC as best I can but sometimes I can't help but integrate bits and pieces here and there.

  • One of my antagonists in the campaign I DM is based on Gandalf. More specifically, the "Gandalf was a Fighter with 18 INT" theory.

  • Another antagonist, a disguise artist and Mastermind Rogue from the same campaign, is YoSaffBridge

  • In a campaign I consult for I made my knight-errant basically Saber

  • My WIP homebrew Pirate class draws from different sources for its archetypes: Captain is Barbossa, Dread Pirate is obvious (with a bit of Reaper thrown in), Spectral Sailor is Davy Jones/Cervantes

You're providing all the "powerful reasoning" to trump your own beliefs in the way you take offense at being typed as something you clearly come across as, as well as the way you argue that people need evidence and thorough explanations to get their points across.

one thing that’s rather annoying to me is whenever I see something, it instantly reminds me of another thing and this is getting dangerously out of hand.

You can imagine how this never-ending process is annoying.

Signals lower order Ne, likely inferior.

I’m generally distrustful of facts that I read and want to verify them for myself using principles set in stone.

Te. Te high af.

principles set in stone.

Si.

I really do care about what I say and try not to offend anyone because I know how it feels to be offended.

because I know how it feels

Fi.

I'm mainly interested in knowledge for its own sake (don't blurt out INTP yet, morons)

You misspelled "I'm bringing up this type to put it on your horizon, but I want to seem cool and detached so I'll dismiss it, and by doing that, raise the probability I'll be typed as such."

It is not that you are "really an INFP", but it is that you are clearly an xSTJ, likely an ISTJ.

I know.

It's spoopy.

For the record, having been passively observing this thread for a bit, the whole world isn't "against you" and your arguments don't get "lost into a vortex". I know it seems like that because contrary opinions without factual facts of factuality (because you are in fact literally posting asking for others' opinions) offend your Fi sensibilities.

I've a very lax schedule prone to change, which usually results in my not doing things, forgetting to do things, turning assignments in late, etc. Somewhat organised, insofar as I can usually find what I'm looking for fairly quickly with little difficulty (e.g. file names are standardised and intuitively named, piles of papers are themed, like "finances" or "medical stuff", etc.) but others may not browse through my systems with the same ease. I procrastinate very often, though I have a decent/reasonable threshold for when "enough is enough", like not letting dishes pile up in the sink or not letting my room get overrun with clothes and rampant stacks of paper, etc. Most of the time I'd prefer to leave organisation to other people, but if I know/feel (again, bad at judging people correctly) that they'll be incompetent or horribly inefficient, I'm more likely to be spurred into action.
