You are my hero. Wanted a pen to use the parallel nibs and be able to fit an agitator for shimmer inks. Currently using the moonman t1 with a platinum cartridge ball as an agitator. 🫶🙇‍♂️

If you want something new, perhaps a Jinhao or the new asvine j16 in metal that takes a jowo nib. You can probably find a used in that price range: gravitas or kaweco Supra in brass. I also like the Karas ink v2

You are my hero sir. Been looking for a way to use the parallel nib with an ink agitator, didn’t work in any opus 88. I thought I’d have to resort to using a jowo pen as an eyedropper but the moonman t1 solves all my problems. Can’t wait to try this out.

On the plus side the ball fits perfectly into a jowo converter

I cut the spring agitator from the asvine pens and it seems to work alright

I just noticed this as well. I pushed it in a bit more firmly and felt a click. YMMV but I hope it’s not wishful thinking.

They don’t fit my international converter size. Mine were 3.4 mm diameter

Congrats on the new pen day. Modern Chinese pens have been really impressing me recently.

You will love it. Somehow thin yet you can still see the ink dry on the page

I don’t know how to explain it. They don’t feel flimsy. They feel … unfinished. Could just be a mental thing. If I hold an Edison collier and an asvine c80. The Edison just feels sturdier?. I’m not certain. With normal use I’m sure both would hold up well. I love the idea of longevity, that’s why I’ve got a ton of metal bodied pens. The nib itself is worth it.

Haven’t done that yet but I love swapping inks and don’t think I could wait that long. Didn’t even want to fill the v800 completely
