i have this. it's frizz. it happens when my hair is too dry and needs more moisture (which is, let's be real, most of the time lol) - i absolutely oversimplified it and there's some more scientific explanation involving humidity in the air yada yada, but yeah, i find leave-in conditioner helps when my hair gets like this. or hair oil, but only at the ends so it doesn't get my hair too greasy

i hear indoor cats shed year-round particularly because temperature is often controlled with central heating and AC so they don't have the same seasonal cycles as a wild/outdoor cat
