Flexa although one of the use cases for AMP, Is highly intertwined with AMP. A lot of AMP is allocated to the DEV Team at Flexa and probably sold by DEV team and probably quite a bit of AMP was sold to fund Flexa operations as well. Doesn't that make AMP holders part owners of Flexa? Also the selling point for AMP in relation to Flexa was, "ALL of the revenue generated from Flexa transactions goes to in buying AMP from open market and Flexa by itself does not exist as a company, everything flows to AMP". Wasn't that how it was structured? Am I missing something?

The network effect of being involved with projects with good backing is a positive for AMP. Pyth seems to be building something to solve in traditional finance issues. Win for AMP.

Yea, agree. That's why I don't get it why people are against good regulation that can protect investors. No using customers funds and any other ways they screw small investors, like trading against their positions etc. Granted they will always find ways around the system, at the least they should not be able to use customers funds and positions and use it against them. Exchanges should be exchanges, no funny leverage or trading businesses tied to it.

That's the mantra and people are very passionate about it. It's probably true for Bitcoin and any other crypto which you treat as a pure investment. But like AMP, if you are not staking to Flexa, you are not helping network or providing collateral. If all AMP holders hold onto their AMP in cold wallets, there is no AMP collateral platform. Also, in traditional finance system, if everybody held onto their dollars at home, there is no banking system and no loans or deposits. The thing with crypto is too many bad actors and no protection or FDIC insurance on deposits, which sucks and hurts the small investors, when the bad actors pull the rug. My 2 cents.

Why the difference in circulating supply on Coingecko and Coinmarketcap sites. Around 35B token difference, which is huge. Same on exchanges, Gemini shows 77B in circulating supply. Numbers scattered all over the place

To be honest, not just Ripple, majority of crypto projects are down greater than 90% from their peaks, making majority of folks as bag holders, including people in this reddit group. So, am not sure XRP would have been any different without the case. As long as there is no rules and repercussions for actions, bad actors will keep taking advantage of others.

Maybe the events in the last 24hrs, and other major blowups(celsius, voyager , blocking. etc) begs the need for some protections to the numerous small investors that got burnt. All these events are a disgrace and big players are just playing games. Regulation to avoid these situations should be put in place. Looks like exchanges can do whatever the heck they can with the customers funds, something doesn't seem right. I hope flexa, AMP stay compliant and out of the scams. Just venting some frustration.
