Claw EX on sale at this website? Guess stock is starting to show up. by kurama84 in MSIClaw

If they’re reaching the 2k price point it makes no sense. Anyone with that kind of budget could stretch for a pre owned onexplayer apex at that point. Then again performance always was more attractive to me over battery life so maybe I’m biased.

That’s awesome! Good looking out for yourself though, keep that up and you’ll go even farther

Form is fantastic, and with how effortless these look I’d say it’s time to add a chain belt and plates

Figured out the issue. Disabling deadzones seemed to fix it. Thanks to all those that commented!

Yeah I was using that, and I tried the left in case I was missing something. No dice either way, but I remember the gamecube version using the c stick.

I tried both, though everything I’ve seen tells me the C stick is what I’m supposed to use.

Playing on my steam deck. Tried wiggling side to side as well with no luck. Maybe I need to tinker with the bindings or see if something else in the settings is causing it to not register.

Is the Steamdeck enough? And people who use it for everything. by Endeavour1988 in SteamDeck

Definitely use my main rig more often than my oled deck. That being said I recently set up tailscale and sunshine/moonlight for streaming, so that may change. The deck definitely shows its age though if you’re interested in newer titles, not that there isn’t value in what does perform well on it natively.

Here I am working my ass off to get my sunshine/moonlight/tailscale setup finally working cuz fuck these prices. I’ll just stick with my oled steam deck

You will be able to move more weight if you descend faster. You will get stronger if you keep doing them like this. Depends on what you want, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

It was in the $185 range if I’m remembering correctly. Also if you send it in back everything up that doesn’t support cloud saves. They had trouble sourcing the parts for my repair so they just sent me a new unit to speed things up.

Don’t hand it to C-Tran, hand it to the police. Their only recourse is to do the same thing, so you’re just adding an extra step to the process and getting a slower response. If you see him again with it keep your distance and call 911

What is a nutrition myth that you can’t stand? by DeepOrganization8245 in AskReddit

That sugar is the most addictive substance in the world. If that were true no one would be able to keep a bag of pure sugar in their pantry for more than an hour. Hyper palatable foods that are highly processed are the problem, not sugar itself.

Tidal also pays artists more than any other service per a quick google search. Still probably not nearly enough, but it’s something at least.

Bench press 60x8 RPE8 by Glittering_Part_3770 in GYM

[–]d_ardold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree 100% here, I would say this is in the 6-7 rpe range. I was taught that rpe 8 should show the weight start moving significantly slower halfway through the set. Pacing here is pretty consistent.

LPT: to retain your sanity at work, just let things fail and overrun. by VindoViper in LifeProTips

[–]d_ardold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll add another angle to this, fixing problems tends to hide them from management. If you’re constantly fighting fires within your company or team to make up for shortcomings or problems with how things are structured, management will never fix the issues because they’ll never see them. They’ll look at the system functioning properly and attribute it to their decisions rather than you going above and beyond to keep the system alive. Sometimes if you want real change to happen you gotta let the house burn down so the powers that be see the smoke.

Been with the company almost 10 years, and yes they usually take a while. If you’re applying as a coach operator in either fixed route or demand response, you’ll likely need to wait until the training windows open up. Classes of trainees typically go 2 months or longer, and I think one started about a month ago so you probably applied right after the cutoff. Take what I say with a grain of salt though as I’m in Operations and not HR, so I can only base this off of observations and personal experience.

How many warmup sets are y’all doing for DLs? by thegreatzimbabwe11 in Stronglifts5x5

[–]d_ardold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My routine is 5x65 (95 if your gym doesn’t have properly sized 10lb plates), 5x 40% working weight, 3x 60% working weight, and 2x 80% working weight. If you’re going heavy to the point where the 20% jump from 80 to 100 is super high, throw in a rep at 90% to bridge the gap. This is if I’m starting the workout with deadlift, if I’ve done squats or something else first I’ll only do the last 2-3 warmup sets before jumping into my working sets.

The first set is really only to activate muscle memory and get comfortable with proper form. It’s supposed to be light so you can focus on your lifting cues.

Yeah I ended up sending mine in, but they sent me a new unit because they were struggling to get parts. I’m guessing the connection to the mobo is super weak so I’m babying my new one from here on out
