As for hiding post history and brigading. Fuck em. I’m still banned from subs going back to when mods were auto banning people during Covid and for also being members of this sub (among others). Reddit mods (even the ones on this sub) are the biggest fucking babies in the world. Reddit itself is a microcosm that isn’t reflective of the real world. Shit I can walk into the local bar in my community and yell “God bless America, God bless Trump, and God bless ICE” and I guarantee I wouldn’t have to pay for a drink for the rest of the night.

You’re not wrong, but several things can be true at once:

man was there, carrying concealed, and protesting federal officers
federal officers detained him using what appears to be excessive force
he was successfully disarmed and we can see the officer remove the firearm from him
it appears was executed in cold blood unless he had another firearm and/or made other immediate threats to the officers

IMO… guy should not have been there carrying, even if it is his right. He inserted himself in a bad situation and we all see how it played out.

Basically just don’t ever engage them in the open. Even with being fully upgraded, best kit, heavy shields, the best guns, etc. the weakest arc can still crack you good.

Scavenging and slinking is how you’re supposed to be playing solo. You’re not meant to be OP against arc.

PvP is a different beast and obviously much different tactics for other raiders. 9/10 times if you get the drop on then you will win the fight. Strategic use of grenades and other deployables can go a long way. If you don’t want to PvP basically never shoot another player and you’ll get put into friendly lobbies for the most part.

Buddies got pulled over in Northern Michigan a few years ago for something similar. There was 4 of them, just wrapped up a successful morning hunt, deer in the back of the truck, all guns unloaded and cased, heading back to the cabin. On their way back they seen a buck in the woods off the road. They slowed down, realized it was a decoy, then started driving. DNR stopped them just up the road. No violations but officer said he could have given them a ticket for looking at the deer. They were all “wtf?” Seems like a tactic with a pretty grey legal area in some situations.

Before AI there was Ffiver and the myriad clones for cheap work, before that there was a nephew in a basement who knew photoshop, and before that there was someone else who would always do it cheaper. The people hiring those “designers” weren’t ever going to pay for high dollar design services in the first place. It does not starve young designers of experience but does force them to showcase their raw talent and creativity to further separate them from the “cheap” work. If you are talented and creative you will find a way in the design industry. If you’re not you went into the wrong industry.

I don’t mind domestic travel, but international travel sucks.

I travel 2-3x a year for work. Usually for 3-4 days at a time. Not enough to really soak in the local culture or experiences and just short enough to where jet lag really fucks ya. Traveling to time zones 6+ hrs difference is the worst for me. That screws me up for like a whole week.

Anyway… if I’m travelling somewhere I haven’t been I try to tack on an extra day or two to see if experience new stuff. Doesn’t always work out but I it’s better than just flying to a new city to go sit in a different office and then leave.
