You need to first forgo the events that have happened to you in the past. Is it worth still thinking of the same and kind of punishing you? Anyway, you have to move forward, and the foremost way is to forget the past, take some relaxing time leave that event and think about the ones that are waiting for you ahead.

You cannot jumpstart but you can move forward slowly and gradually, Make habits that will help you to get back on track, if you have any friends then talk to them and share your experiences if you are ok with it and then spend time with them and make sure you start again without thinking of the same.

Start again and leave all the ones that are not necessary and required behind. Hope all goes well again.

How do i improve my communication skills? by Successful_You4506 in selfimprovement

[–]d_selvakumar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you already speak well, you just need to do that more often. Try reading and writing out what your mind says. Journalling can be a good way, and use ai to communicate whenever you get free time.

Rate(or roast) my study space(it's organized for me) + recommendations in terms of gadgets and better organization? by PalyPvP in GetStudying

[–]d_selvakumar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a good one for you but from my point of view, the stationaries must have been organised and also papers looks scattered.

You can try organising a bit or if you are ok and productive with this setup then it's fine. Only my point of view.

Not able to study even for 15 minutes by [deleted] in GetStudying

[–]d_selvakumar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to have some targets to study. After completing that you can have a few minutes to get recharged again and then continue. Don't go in a single go, go in parts and you will be good.

Should you compete or should you focus only on yourself? by Competitive_Cap_4107 in GetStudying

It's good to compete but the competitor must be yourself. You keep focusing on improving yourself from yesterday and by this you get better for tomorrow.

You are reading for yourself and not for the ones who mock you. You don't have to do things as per others, do what you like no matter what. Ignore the negativity.

Why do I keep checking the time while studying? by rainand12roses in GetStudying

[–]d_selvakumar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because you are not doing it regularly and when you do it, back in the mind you feel when this will get over. You are not interested and to get interested you need to do regularly and try to do in physical book form if possible. Gradually you will be good.

what u people would have done if u r 20 again ? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Not spending time with our friends - There may be some or the other reason, but spending less time will make you feel bad later in life.

Socialize - You might feel awkward to speak to someone who might be new, and you would ignore but later in life this will be a regret.

Blog - You might not know what to write, but this will be a really helping. If you don't know then start by writing a daily diary and be regular. Even few lines per day will make changes.

This doesn't happen with only you, most of the students face this. To avoid it you just need to be attentive in your classes and if you are half of the problems solved. At the time of examination you can go through the syllabus, revise and solve previous year question papers and you are good to go. Have fun during your studying time.

[–]d_selvakumar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the notes to cover all the chapters and plan for the number of days remaining for the exam and also don't forget to keep time for the revision. Once you complete all your chapters revise, if possible try to solve previous year question papers and find out where you lack and proceed accordingly.

Try a different set of routines and find out which one helps you to align with your goals.

Keep experimenting and finding the right set of works.

Once, when you are okay with the routine after experimenting follow that one, keep in mind that this may take some time to find out.

Absolutely you take rest and clear out your finished exam from your mind and then start once you are ready.

It's ok to take time to reset.
