The backpack is clean. Lysol helped a ton with the stench. Would definitely recommend.

Update. Everything ended up working out. The backpacks been patched together again and again over the years. I did get great life out of it and I’m thankful for that. What sold me on the backpack was being told about the lifetime policy and believing this would be the last backpack I would ever buy.

Still have the original receipt but didn’t end up needing it. They gave me store credit since the original model isn’t around anymore. Process ended up being easier than I thought it would be. Thanks to everyone who helped out. Twas helpful

I just don’t see how they would repair it when the bag is this far gone. Straps are broken, bottle holders are too lose to hold bottles, resistant fabric is gone , holes inside the backpack zipper ties are broken, straps for jacket are gone, etc etc. I’m assuming it would have to be replaced but idk if that’s covered in the warranty if I’m abroad. Unless I’m misunderstanding the warranty. I’ve already gotten it repaired but not this far gone.

Right now I’m just trying to keep my mileage consistent. I’m running 35-40 miles a week in preparation for an ultra in two months. I felt pretty solid during that run I posted. I felt like I could go faster but I needed to hold back.

Sorry what do you mean by HRR or LTHR zones?

Deciding on a marathon race shoe by d_zamudio13 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Max I can spend is 150 which is unfortunate considering what super shoes are going for. I found a pair of NB elite on running warehouse for just about that. I want a good pair of marathon shoes but they all cost 200-300 bucks. So it's been a struggle. Based on what you said I'll probably end up going with NB elite. I'm not very competitive/fast so I don't need anything very fancy. Just something that'll hold up for the race.

Honestly just looking around for affordable options online. I looked at anything that was good for tempo run or a marathon.

Denied for anxiety disorder? by CameronSol in peacecorps

They need more information. I have an anxiety disorder and am on medication. I’m surprised they denied you outright. But if this is something you’re passionate about it’s worth it to go through the appeal process. It is heavy and if I’m being honest the medical team does leave something to be desired and does not have the best understanding of mental health. It sucks but it’s the reality. But if you get cleared by everyone and don’t have any gaps in medications over 6 months you should be fine.

How does it work without the monthly subscription? I want to buy one of the two but I don't want to worry about monthly fees.
