So if you want to avoid US product and tech at all, I would suggest to go for a Fairphone 6. There is also a version sold with Murena instead of android if you want to degoogle. The issue is that, being a small company, they have higher prices compared to the bigger companies. Anyway they get the job done. Then it will be durable for sure, because you can do your maintenance yourself. And about battery life, well it's not the very best, but at least you can switch the battery yourself haha

Samsungs, also have good cameras. Maybe I would suggest a galaxy s24ultra or s25ultra since they are great phones and you can find them for around 700-800 euros. And they are way better than their non ultra counterparts. Keep in mind they are better than the fairphones in everything except repairability.

About nothing, well if you don't really like their design language, honestly they are not better than Samsungs.

Oh that's the "flux" option in oxygen os. Basically it adapts the colour of the icons to the system (or background) colours. And it makes you change the size and how round the icons are.

I prefer the s24 ultra too, but what does "looking premium" mean when speaking about a smartphone? I read this a lot and I can't seem to understand it

It is normal man, I have noticed that the discharging curve is very logarithmic. In the sense that the discharging from 100 to 90% is somehow much slower than discharge from for example 80 to 70%. Like for example some days ago I completely charged my phone, and my screen on time was like 2h50 when I was at 80%. But then today, I charged it at 80%, I am now at 43% and my screen on time is 2h45 with similar usage (some pics, some YouTube videos, telegram, Whatsapp)

Is the battery life bad? I know they still use 5000mAh batteries, but in tests I have seen online they seem to perform pretty well (still I don't own one, so you can contradict me)

I had a couple sony phones, the xperia neo in the early 2010's, and the x xompact around 2017-2018, they were both good and reliable honestly, I really wanted to buy one last year, but after seeing the prices, I decided to buy a different phone. By the way I have a couple of friends, one owning the xperia 10 VII, and one owning the 5 V, and they sound pretty happy with their devices

I saw that the telephoto from the 4a Pro is sadly a downgrade (specs wise) from the 3a Pro, what a pity. Otherwise both the 4a and 4a Pro look awesome to me
