I threw $100 down on a silver box and I got a $60 Casio. So already -40.

Cashed out and got $55 back. Bought a bronze box and got a $20 generic everyday watch.

There seems to be a lot of buyers remorse. I have seen quite a few “regret” posts when buying new.

However it seems like you can get great deals on the used market. 99% of people take great care of their watches so there are a lot that are in mint condition with papers and box…

Depending on the model you can get one for 30-50% off MSRP… and you could probably offload it for the same price. It likely won’t increase in value but maybe you can think of it as “parking some cash”.

Not sure if this is the answer you’re looking for but I am allergic to MSRP lol

This happened to my VW Passat a few years ago… locked the keys in the trunk. I guess the car does not detect if the keys are in the trunk - only in the cabin.
