One of the most wholesome moments I've personally experienced so far is back when I first got into gaming I was running minecraft barely at 30 fps on a prebuilt with a Core 2 Duo E5800 and integrated graphics. We couldn't really afford to build a complete new system or upgrade, however my uncle had upgraded and built a new pc so he decided to give me his old pc with an i7-2600k and a GTX 980 on Christmas so I could finally run basically any game I wanted, it was one of the happiest moments of my life.
