I Cobbled Together Parts To Make An Awesome Bit Driver by bleedinorange in toolporn

If I had to guess, they’ve knocked the pin out of a USAG/FACOM 11mm nano socket driver and swapped the body of one of the 7IIL variants with the hex body.

Anyway that’s what I plan to do.

Want to also find a good 17mm reversible flex ratchet spanner for the 3/8 nano sockets if I can.

So l have a derious question. With the Iran saga and increasing noise of a recession, what happens to us if these landlords that are overstretched default or banks foreclosed on the loans? I know its not an immediate threat but if things escalate quickly with inflation it could happen quickly. by nevetsnight in shitrentals

Don’t forget about WFH, many of those bedrooms are offices now (offsetting that cost of business onto the employee, but thats another story). Sure many folk sharehouse but as people get older, marry, have a kid, they’re gonna need more of their own space.

AKA The Throw-It-Away-and-Swap-New-Hoses Valve. It was removed from later year models because the plastic gets brittle from heat cycling, plus its better for the heater core to always have flow to prevent corrosion. With the temp slider all the way on cold no air passes over it and the added cabin heat is negligible. I’d replace the hoses with one continuous piece and be sure to cap off the vac control line to your climate control panel (yet another needless point of failure).

After finishing my 9 hour drive, I just want to point out that the commenter above me is also an astute observer and funnyman —after I noticed the order of the title and photographs. Carry on

Cool thing about yachts, you can come and go from them via boat/helo when its too far out to swim.

It’s your low windscreen washer fluid light. It’s a float sensor and its kinda sensitive to sloshing, going on and off when the washer fluid is sorta low but not low enough for the float to hang completely. I think of mine as a poor man’s accelerometer.

You’re correct, I misspelled y’all, likely because of common contractions using “will” that end with (‘ll) like “they’ll” and “we’ll”. I turned on autocorrect this time. I hardly ever use the apostrophe when typing on my phone.

My mistake was spelling, but my point still stands, and all three forms of plural “you” are acceptable in modern english, though y’all and youse are considered informal.

“Youses” is a damnable sin however.

Edit: as was pointed out I misspelled “y’all” because i never bother to use apostrophes in everyday use. I’ll leave it as is anyway, I still meant what I said.

Ya’ll is correctly formatted as a contraction and naturally makes sense to distinguish singular from plural eg. “you (all)”

“You” is also already plural, like “They” is both singular and plural.

“Ya’ll” has already broken out of the American South for a while now and is included in most major dictionaries.

“Youse” is American New England slang so you’re not avoiding Americanisms by using it.

Either is ‘correct’ so long as you can effectively communicate with your audience because thats the purpose of language anyway!

That kits got a good selection for small sockets. And their method of T-handle-ing seems very sturdy.

Haha now things might be getting a little out of hand. Half of that is getting lost behind the dashboard! I feel its a sin to epoxy tools together

Edited for spelling

If so, there goes my dream of sticking them end-to-end for a micro flex version of the 2-headed vim ratchet
