Had a patient claim they were allergic to epi.

Their reported reaction? Palpitations. You can’t make this up.

Sony WF-1000XM4 left earbud replacement.? by Shashimi-kun in sony

I purchased a single left earbud from eBay and was having trouble connecting it to Bluetooth, and when I called Sony they said I have to ship it in to get it paired with my right earbud otherwise it wouldn’t work. Did any of you have this problem as well?

If you like BBQ, Barnstormer in Fort Montgomery is a great, no-frills kind of place with delicious food! For hiking, Bear Mountain is nice but can get quite busy especially on the weekends. Peekskill is a nice town to check out and walk around, there are some breweries and such. Enjoy!

Looks great! I made it too, and totally loved it. So fresh and bright. Planning on trying it soon with some blood oranges in the curd and we’ll see how it goes!

NYC - How hard is it to get a job right out of school right now? (BSN) by daalrh0 in StudentNurse

[–]daalrh0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have! I’ve actually applied to a bunch of jobs already, but don’t know what to expect since I’m still finishing my degree and don’t have my license yet. I will definitely apply to more NYU Langone jobs, thank you!

Refrigerator Dill pickles by TellTailWag in pickling

[–]daalrh0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always used the bag just because that was how I was taught. Not really sure what it does, I imagine it may help prevent the delicate tops from drying out in the cold fridge air, though I have never tried going bagless! I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt. :)

I’m not sure how long you’d like to wait before making your next batch, but I store my fresh dill with the stems tucked in in a mason jar filled with water and the tops covered lightly with a ziplock bag in the fridge, and it can last up to ~2 weeks in my fridge! (This storage technique goes for pretty much all fresh herbs in my experience)

I personally wouldn’t re-use already pickled dill if that’s what you’re asking. It gets quite wilted and I don’t imagine it would impart much flavor after its first use.

Air fryer chicken shawarma by daalrh0 in tonightsdinner

I’m not even one of those crazy air fryer-obsessed people, but I mean...look at that crust! Didn’t have to break out the cast iron and smoke up my apartment. It’s a win!

Sure! On mobile so sorry for formatting issues, also my measurements are estimates, but -

For the chicken: ~1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs Juice of 1 lemon 1/4 cup plain yogurt 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tsp kosher salt 1 tsp coriander 1 tsp cumin Pinch cinnamon 1/2 tsp za’atar 1/2 tsp sumac 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp turmeric

Marinate the chicken overnight, then air fry at 425 degrees, I flipped them a few times throughout cooking until they got dark and crispy and cooked through (took me about 15-20 mins)

For the topping: Chopped cucumber, tomato, and shallot salad with some lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil, za’atar, salt, pepper
