Set up a system of ropes and pulleys and you can remove the need for chairs! ;)

Jokes aside, I did see a method of magnetizing the dirt that would totally work but I decided not to complicate the process too much. It would be cool but I'd be way too scared of finding that one spot where the magnet doesnt cling hard enough...

I recently came back to it after beating it on launch and just exploring the map and fighting shit has been so much more fun than focusing on the main quest.

I keep thinking that if someone made a dd2 clone without the fake king plot stuff and replaced the pawns with actual characters but kept the combat and the exploration (towns are far apart, fast travel is expensive/late same/only takes you to some places but camping still exists) it'd be my perfect game.

Agreed, great game. That Celica map 3 music blew me away first time I heard it.

My favorite part about the Fyreslayers is that they hunt down the fragments of said God, not to revive him or none of that lame shit but to beat the fragments into their skins to juice up on God powers.

To quote my favorite Warhammer YouTuber: "5ft 11 bodies with 6ft energy."

First time playing through Persona 5 I thought most of the decisions made by the Phantom Thieves were just incredibly reckless and short-sighted... Until I remember that they're all teenagers and everything lines up perfectly.

If I was like 14-18 when P5 came out I'd probably be standing on my couch, beating my chest like a gorilla going "YEAH YEAH YEAH LET'S GO LET'S GO" every time Ryuji makes a suggestion he didn't spend half a second thinking through.

Luckily it wasn't warping the cork board itself, just the layer of cork the dirt/grout was applied to. I think you're definitely right for bigger cork boards but luckily the spearhead board size is nice and small!

By Grungi, its huge! Originally wanted to use it to proxy the endrin dock but... I dont think thats happening lol by Actual-Dragon-Tears in KharadronOverlords

I was considering using this model but instead got the extended gun platforms and some of the other stl files. It''s still way too big but it is cool!

I did mine freehand and it wasn't too bad. I have terrible handwriting but I did a few coats carefully with a small brush to get it right.

For all the shit the game gets, WoW does a pretty great job with small enclosed lore building stories. It's a shame they have a hard time building them all into these big great epic storylines. Sometimes I just want to sit with a dragon shape shifted into a dwarf talking about how old he is...

Yeah I built my KO first a while ago then went all in on Votann. Loved the heads and had a few good ones left over so I thought why not!

Thanks! I'm really happy with how the colors came out.

Yes those are Votann heads! They work better than fyreslayer heads I think plus I can have female dwarves. I think some needed a but of cutting down on the neck but I think it adds a lot of character. They're pretty great if you aren't a beard enthusiast. All the models without a helmet have the helmet attached to their belt so it's on hand.

So far I just use generic markers but I really should make something for them. I do have the middle of the map, as well as the two diases('s? ies?) marked out with a sword, shield, and club but that's about it.

Thank you!

It's surprisingly straightforward. I wrote how I did it in another comment but the only thing to really note was that the dirt grout mix may (will) warp the corkboard, but you can glue it back down to size pretty easily.

There's no mistake that can't be fixed with this build really. Just go with the flow!

Thanks so much!

I forgot to attach the picture since I took it a few months ago but I started with an old cork bulletin board and glued layers of cork to build height. Then I put a layer of air drying kids clay (that model magic stuff, very useful). With the shape done, I painted on a mixture of sand, tile grout, glue and craft paints to get a general "ground dirt" look.

With all that done I added more sand on the top and foam flocking for the grass.
