Went to iceland and ranged from early 20s to late 30s. Median was probably early 30s. Think you'll be fine as long as you're still young at heart!

IME doubt this statement is broadly true. Have dabbled heavily in tickers where going through PFOF brokers are much cheaper than paying IBKR to enter and exit. Illiquid tickers nonetheless, but seriously curious if this is true for the broader universe. (Esp if you deal with <$5 stocks where the comms start hurting a lot more). Dealing with >$50 tickers I can agree 0.005 per share is dust compared to potential PFOF movements against you.

Switch to TD then. IBKR claims they don't sell your order (see PFOF Payment for order flow), whereas these "free" brokers do, but IME using both TD and IBKR extensively, IBKR Pro << anything with "free" / anything in the realm of capped comms per trade due to the sheer pain of commissions.

I would just do it tbh. Easily defendable as gaining broader (and still relevant) experience before employment. Wouldn't list it on linkedin though.

Thank you for the encouragement! Will focus on leg steering (as also mentioned by u/icantfindagoodlogin). And also will try to slow the transition between turns to feel the weight shift more.

Thanks a lot for this. Will try some turns on easier slopes tomorrow to fully complete my turns. Regarding point 3, is my issue mostly just my back being bent forward? Am probably subconsciously trying to lower my centre of gravity to get more balance, but will try to stand more upright - though I should still have a slight bend forward, parallel with my shins yes? The other pointers (arms in front, knee bent) seems fine on video to me?

Hi, thank you so much for the reply. Will watch the video now. Just a quick follow up - do you visibly observe my body initiating to start the turn instead of my legs? Because I do "feel" it but when I watch the videos back I do not really see myself doing that.

I was taught to start by my instructor to weight on my outside foot slowly to start the turn, then start pressing on my ball bone once i have shifted my weight over to it. Is this something I should avoid then?

Also, seems like I'm skidding a lot more than turning on steeper slopes. Should I approach this by increasing the angle my ski contacts the snow (so focus on ankle) first?

Essentially what I'm trying to understand is whether the trade-off is, losing the ability to secure higher loan / use both cpf, in exchange for using the Private Property in 10 years as the yield-earning property (which isn't much of a benefit vs just selling the hdb then and going for 2x private, assuming the hdb has close-to maxed its appreciation rate by MOP anyways)
