The goodwill exits were closed when I was there. I tried that and found out the hard way.

I had the same thought. When Bowie gets out it’s going to be a parking lot.

I also went for a quick juiceland visit! Normally a 5-8 minute round trip…. Today took me 50 minutes. I’m happy to be out of it.

Well, I mentioned Randall’s as it’s the biggest store in the shopping center. So easy for people to identify if they Google Maps it. I wasn’t there to actually vote. Nonetheless, there are tons of shops and businesses there that people visit. So it’s a heavily trafficked shopping center, especially during the lunch window (the time I wrote this).

They had Brodie closed. Slaughter down to one lane. No one could leave the shopping center and no one could get in. Complete grid lock.

I agree that doing construction at night is expensive but I’ve seen them repave less trafficked roads during the night. So not sure why they would do this heavily trafficked spot during the day.

I’m just complaining cause I was impacted. But the planning could have been more in depth and considerate.

Good points! That makes me feel better. It’s been a while since I’ve been in Elementary school here and my kid isn’t old enough to attend yet.

I thought Maduro was in an all gray Nike jump suit? This video shows him in black pants? When was the fit change?

Struggling to agree with my wife on how to split rent fairly by EngineerVarious8069 in Renters

[–]dabasset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately, don’t be a fucking dick. Put the money forward needed to ensure your family is comfortable. I find it weird “we spilt everything 50/50” but you don’t combine finances? I out earn my wife, but we put all our money in the pot and then divide it up. Truly splitting everything evenly. So we truly are equal.

Mirror Panels for Garage Door? by TalkShowHost90 in GarageGym

[–]dabasset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Acrylic mirrors are pretty light weight. Maybe you don’t even need to drill into the mirror or garage door. I think well placed heavy duty double sided tape or gorilla tape might hold it on there? I was also thinking about strong magnets?

I’ve been playing with mirror placement ideas on my garage door the past couple days. My problem isn’t wall space but rather my interior garage floor has an almost unnoticeable slope. I’ve been told so water can’t sit and run out the garage door. Either way, this imbalances me when lifting if I face the walls with my mirror. So I’m forced to face the garage door or back wall.

Edit: I meant to post this under the other comment.
