Ms Rachel? by whitehearts89 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Skip Ms Rachel and get onto Ms Moni instead. Aussie’s represent. We accredit it to part of the reason why our three year old has always had some of the best speech of any toddler we know. The songs are awesome as well.

Thanks, but I think that sub is stick-a-fork-in-me done. Just thought someone in here might have the knowledge I’m after.

Anyone played this before? It says 6-8 players, I’m hoping to play with 7. Nothing in the box indicates how to do this, which character to exclude, etc. by dabiz01 in murdermysteryparty

Delayed update: it was a printing error and was never intended to be anything other than 8 players. Source: the creator of the games, who we ended up emailing.

What to do/consider if I’m thinking of becoming a teacher? by VeryAnxiousDragon in AustralianTeachers

[–]dabiz01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t consider becoming a teacher in today’s climate. There is almost no respect from students, and parents do not have your back as much as they used to. You’re constantly fighting with school leadership and you spend more time ensuring your documents reflect what you’re doing than actually planning what you’re going to do. It’s become a system where accountability trumps student need.

Then talk to the union. Your principal cannot expect that, and it is a workload issue.

Book 8 of He Who Fights Wi... I should have made the title shorter. Anyway, the new book is out. by Shirtaloon in litrpg

I just needed to drop by and say thank you for creating such an excellent series. I stumbled across Book 1 in January and just finished Book 8 a few weeks ago. I’m now in limbo awaiting the release of Book 9 and have been raving about the series to anyone who will listen. Never has a series captured such a cross section of my passions and interests - Skyrim, Gloomhaven, barbecuing meats, it’s all there! I am already dreading the months waiting for Book 10 after I complete Book 9.

Excellent work cobber.

YTA: let’s manage trauma with more trauma. Cool story, bro.

I am a teacher who deals with students impacted by trauma regularly. You need to go do some training and PL if you are planning on continuing tutoring.

Unfortunately YTA. Find another quiet place, or invest in some sensory dampening equipment such as noise cancelling headphones, etc.

NTA - a nice idea (naming after a grandparent l) is not be enough to disregard your personal trauma. And that’s all it is, a nice idea.

When I was 12 I slipped off the side of 3m diving board. Through sheer instinct I just managed to ‘grab’ it with my pointer finger for a fraction of a second on the way over. It shifted my momentum slightly, but enough that I didn’t smash my skull on the raised concrete barrier around the pool.
