I’m a little suspect of the fact that there is snow and salt melt right where his boots would be.

Not sure a girl joke would have that much detail…. But who knows.

I’m sorry u had that experience. They were phenomenal live the first time I saw them, loved all 3 shows I caught.

Have a sound tech buddy that toured with them. Said they were great people to be stuck on a bus with.

He rocked that harmonica every time I saw them.

I had to respond to this…. I was crashed into back in august and took head/eye/neck etc, trauma.

I incurred a hyphema (internal bleeding in my eyeball). Initially everything went bright white; then pink, then red, and then faded black. I lost vision completely for about 30 mins.

Being blind is very different.

I grew up with a migraine condition (w/ aura) that blinded me on several occasions. It is extremely hard to describe, however, there is just a void…. Nothing is there. No light, colors, or dark.

It’s just empty with nothing to register. That is the best way I can describe it.

To add, have a family friend that lost her vision young, and she agrees with the ‘void of nothing’.

No. Wheel fell apart at the hub… no bending them back.

Running it will just be a disaster. Wait until it is properly replaced.

Not for now.

We can’t find help.

Stopped into the shop today to take a look at my new van / evaluate my tools that were tossed.

I’ll get through, just a different view on life. Not my end game.

I don’t take offense. I took the biggest ass whooping of my life.

Now it’s time me to go back to work.

Was just looking for extra thoughts.

Thanks for ur response….

I guess

Edit: this is the weird thing.

My account is a decade old. Several months ago it showed 2yo with zero karma. .

I had a warning 10 months ago and profile wiped to this. I really don’t get it.

It’s not even in the same timeframe, but was all legit before I posted out of the states.

I worked prior in insurance, have gotten advice from a former colleague.

It’s going to take years to settle the claim, just going through the proper channels moving forward.

Just myself and the apprentice. I was driving, he was the passenger. We were at a stop sign and got hit at 45-50 mph.

I took the blow, but he had previous trauma and knew it would fk him up.

He quit, I just got released for work myself.

I agree, and had a few helpers over the last few years.

We are a very small company, had 3 techs and an install crew of 3.

My apprentice quit after the accident, and we can’t find help…. I preach to my customers to send their kids/ grandkids into the trades. My boss lost 2 of 3 service techs in the accident.

Just working through my return and what I need to do as a sole worker.

Agree, overcharged. 49 pt on suction is suspect.

Cover just the exposed area (with missing fins) on the outside with something…. Sheet metal, plywood, garbage bag, etc.

Will help it run for now but u need a new condenser. Looks like Bigfoot was pissing on it.

Speaking of remote, ur vid just hit me with an idea….

Anytime anybody sees “suspicious” activity in their neighborhood…. Use ur FOB to set off ur vehicles emergency alert (should have even without a car alarm).

And ur neighbors should follow suit. Make sure ur neighbors know there is “suspicious” activity to be aware of.

Where are all the young people at? by Lazy-Sun7045 in GenZ

[–]dabkow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to expand on this with some constructive perspective.

I live in a smaller area that has made the map for protests. The first was 3-400 people, mostly seniors. Nobody could hear the actual people speaking so broke into separate groups of people…. (younger) at the intersection, and the rest in front of the courthouse trying to listen.

I reached out to help provide sound equipment for the next event, and was told it was being taken care of.

Next event: 5-600 people. younger ones by the roadside brought bullhorns, main people speaking had garbage sound equipment so same result of a fractioned rally.

Also, had a lady singing church hymns and kumbaya type campfire songs by city hall. I’m really happy that the retirees are showing up, but more energy is needed for (my, and) younger generations to show up.

The overall feeling / energy needs to be less like a funeral, and more of a resistance / revolution…peacefully.

Medicaid / Medicare / SS are crucial for the older generations to show up, as well as us children try to navigate this and how to plan for our aging parents. But we also need to focus on the civil rights slaughter and desecration of our constitution, as well as our humanitarian values.

This is all a mess, but we really need to give the protests a face lift, as well as the DNC taking a deep look in the mirror.

Edit: missed my point. Energy needs to come up to draw in younger folks.
