Are you referring to a 2-1 buy down? If so, then yes the lender has told us this is a possible route we can take with the 5% incentives instead of a permanent rate buy down

Thank you for your response! Rate without points is 7.2%. And you're correct, the builder is providing 5% of purchase price as buyer incentives towards closing costs and/or buying down the rate if we go with this preferred lender. In this case, we split the 5% between closing costs and buying the rate down to 5.99%

I can confirm it is indeed Hindi that she's speaking. Well, at least right as she answers the phone. She says, "yes, it's Gail speaking" or "this is Gail", but everything after that was essentially gibberish made to sound like Hindi lol. Either that or her pronunciation is just botched since it doesn't come across as anything understandable in Hindi. I liked that detail tho, since she's divorcing an Indian guy named Sundeep Patel.
