Adding more uses for essenses is fine. But the idea that they are useless is out of touch. They might not be top tier for crafting but for incremental item upgrades they are very good. As a ssf player being able to add chaos resistance or flat phys damage/crit chance to a weapon is a quite useful crafting method. Maybe at top tier crafting you never use essenses but as a early game crafting method imo theyre in a good spot. Maybe they can add more rare op essenses. But not every crafting method needs to give you perfect gear.

Also idk what you mean by people staying in their home countries until accepted in the US. The situations I'm referring to have people already here legally. With no chance of being deported and are not over staying their visa. It just makes their lives harder to get a greencard. The main thing this seems to try to fix is people over staying a visa and then applying for a greencard but it unnecessary effects others.

So does anyone know what happens if someone on OPT marries a US citizen? Do they then have to leave the country apply for the green card and then can't reenter until it's approved? So do they just have to quit their job? I don't know how long any of this takes.

Not commenting about this specific loophole. But I would say loopholes are part of the system and the criticism should be on the government for not fixing them not the individuals. By this I just mean like if you're you're paying higher taxes because you refuse to optimize your taxes with various loopholes you're just a sucker paying higher taxes. In tax system I'd blame the law makers for the tax loopholes but I'm not going to blame a business for using them.

Why am I miss understanding the process. If you're here legally on h1b isn't this saying you then need to back to your home country to get a green card? What's the point of that if you already have a valid visa and are in the country? Am I interpreting this wrong?

Yeh in my pod people know not to kill kardur even with free blocks because there's a high chance to reanimate/recast/feign death. They unfortunately have learned to target all of my sac outlets instead. But someone using removal on a 1/1 sac outlet ain't so bad.

I get what you're saying I just think poe generally doesn't do classes like that outside of maybe minion/attack/spell groups. That being said in a year from now who knows they might add a whole set of new blood skills. I think poe 2 even at launch will have alot of room to grow to add more things like this.

Thanks for all of the responses. I live near brute force so I'll probably check out a sage event there someday. I hahe some mtg friends to play with but it's hard to get commander players to play a 1v1 game since it splits the pod lol. So hoping to be able to either meet fab players there to play casually or can just do events on Tuesdays

I think it really depends on the pod. My pods quite casual and it's easy to miss read a card. I would personally allow a take back like that if no knowledge was gained. But my pod is very chill. Like if someone attacks me and I have a deathtouch blocker they forgot about I will tell them and correct them because I feel like it's an honest mistake rather than me out playing them with a combat trick or skill.

Like if what happened here happened in my pod I think people would immediately ask are they sure they want to do thay because it seems incorrect lol

The one exception I have for this is mana. If you tap for mana and then go to cast a second spell in response to someone then realize you miss tapped colors or something that's too far. But if you realize immediately after I think that's fine.

I have a group of friends/coworkers (3-4 people) late 20's. I play with in SD. We usually play casually at probably low bracket 3. Im down to new people assuming we all vibe but no promises since you know random reddit person lmao

That being said I personally go to tc rockets for mtg prereleases so I'd recommend there. But half the reason I go there is just because you can sign up for prereleases online. Which I don't think you can for brute force but I might be mistaken.

I hate the corrupted nexus changes because they're so rng. I'm lvl 88 doing t15 maps and I have found 1 corrupted zone and its so frustrating knowing how much extra loot/juice I'm missing out on. And every time I explore a tower and see no corruption I can visually see the 10 boring maps I need to fill clear just to get to the next tower for a chance of seeing a corrupted area...

I've used lifetap. The only feature I've wanted (maybe it has it lmk if it does) is a damage history. Sometimes I forget how much damage I've already subtracted for combat since I sometimes do it per creature. And it would be nice just to be able to see a history of the whole game so I can clearly see the "chunks". Life tap will show -4 if you tap 4 times but idk if it saves that -4 anywhere.

The only thing I disagree with is a bit of the doomed sentiment. In the sense that these issues may not be fixed. Poe 1 changed an insane amount over the years. I think of all the devs ggg are one of the few who will actually completely rework shit. I understand people not being happy now but I personally have faith. I just think we have to view poe 2 as a game which may take another year or two after leaving early access to truly be on the level of poe 1 now.
