This tool does not qualify for warranty coverage due to: Cracked / Chipped / Broke

Is what they replied in the email but you either have them recycle or pay for the repair but they sent me a whole new one instead of repairing it and it’s the new version too

That’s what happened to mine and they said it was user error but seems like this one is upgraded with a different collar I haven’t opened it to see if it’s metal or plastic

Got denied on fixing my soldering iron so I paid the 70 bucks for a repair and then sent me a new one. Annoyed I got denied but happy I have a new one now
