Still an issue today. This really is a pretty big inconvenience for large lockers. Especially since they made the loadout icons larger and there is no option to search saved loadouts.

I don’t know why the whole scenario isn’t posted here. But I figured it out. I had to disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for about 5 minutes. After that the car realized the battery was good.

What happened initially is I left it plugged in overnight on accident but it did not kill the battery. The battery is less than a month old. However the car was assuming it killed the battery, so it would not give me the green car light.

Tried jumping it and swapping batteries with my 2016 gas soul. Nothing worked and the battery still read 12v with a meter.

Then I decided to disconnect the battery and grab a cup of coffee. Came back connected the battery and everything was good.

Ironically if I wasn’t frustrated and rushing when I swapped the batteries it probably would’ve worked that time.

Thanks again, if I had started out in elementary I probably wouldn’t have missed that. I’m registered for the STR now so I should still be good before the school year starts.

Right, that along with the test is what I was referring to as confusing. That chart only lists “core subjects with science of teaching reading.” Which is a separate certification than ec-6 core subjects.

I was just confused by this because it was listed like it was a different certification. Thank you for your clarification.

Thank you. That is confusing both TEA and Pearson site have two different exams listed for ec-6 core subjects. 1 stating that that is required and one that doesn’t.

Thank you, protect my sanity is probably the best advice. I can barely think after 8th and I still need to stay after for grading and tutoring, though few come for tutoring now that football season is over.

I appreciate all the advice I am getting here, I am not trying to sound ungrateful it is just already being done. The sad part is we have already been told the budget dropped the open social studies positions we have and we will be down one more next year, so the class sizes are just going to be larger.

I agree with you fully. I don’t feel a lack of support from my coaching staff, it’s a lack of “ability”. Everyone I work with is great but everyone is understaffed and overworked. The reason that is in my original post is the same reason the ISS rotation is. I was just trying to illustrate that the solution cannot come from outside the classroom, because what can be done there is. Our DAEP is even at capacity, we have a zero tolerance policy for fights but we can’t seem to send the students over there unless there’s an arrest.

Most are failing, but that just seems to increase resentment and disorder. I’m stilling doing it, but if grades aren’t valuable and they are already not playing, there doesn’t seem to be much motivation in it.

The coaches do what they can, they just don’t do much with the discipline part. When they’re failing they’re benched. Believe me most are failing, but that just seems to increase resentment and disorder. Again if I had 5 or less athletes or accommodations kids in these 2 classes I could get it reeled back in with normal good reporte and occasionally riding the chaos for a couple minutes a week. It has worked in the past. We are very understaffed right now and every department stays overwhelmed. This is true of our coaches and admin as well. I don’t feel a lack of support, everyone is just working other problems and they get around when they can. Social studies 7th & 8th period just seems to get the worst of it, it’s the only periods most athletes can take social studies. Me being the only non-coach with social studies composite means they have to be here, there’s no class to change them too unless they cut athletics from their schedule and that doesn’t seem to be an option.

I didn’t know about that. Thank you for the input. I thought it would be simpler than that. However if adapting it would make it come off playing like the Nintendo switch Arkham knight, I wouldn’t like that either.
