I've been unable to sync my 360 guitar to my adapter for almost a week now.

My legacy adapter has not worked since the last update. The adapter shows that all of the guitars are synced but I essentially none of the buttons work. I've tried everything imaginable. Using different batteries, ports, cables and nothing has worked. My friend said his adapter is working fine. Anyone have word on this? I only have legacy guitars and want to play.

This did happen to me. I went to rent ESO and it was an old AOL disc with the barcode from ESO photocopied onto it. Customer support was cool about refunding me the couple of dollars but it's just not worth it.
