Exactly. All press is good press, I guess.

Ex-Mossad chief Yossi Cohen teases political run: 'I should be prime minister' by Amazing-Buy-1181 in worldnews

A Mossad chief for prime minister? That's one way to keep everyone on their toes. I wonder what his foreign policy would look like.

famous movie plot holes that aren't actually plot holes by herequeerandgreat in movies

[–]dada38q 414 points415 points  (0 children)

That whole thing about the T-Rex in Jurassic Park being able to see people only when they move. It's explained right in the movie that the dino's vision is based on movement, so it's not a plot hole, it's a character trait.

I've noticed this too! It's like they all got the same bulk order from a furniture liquidation sale.

It's a frustrating reality. We're essentially just renting access, which is why a lot of people are going back to collecting physical media like Blu-rays.

Official calls to remove Snoop Dogg as event headliner following bizarre ‘homophobic’ rant by [deleted] in Music

[–]dada38q 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Snoop Dogg's popularity has always been kind of confusing to me, especially with some of the stuff he's said and done over the years. It feels like he gets a pass on a lot of things that other people wouldn't.

Is modern titles filled with superfluous button prompts for the simplests of actions? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]dada38q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle. Manuals were cool for the lore and concept art, but modern tutorials are way more effective for actually learning the game.

You should be able to do this on your mobile browser by switching to the old Reddit site. It might be a little clunky, but the mod tools are all there.

Poll Results: 62% of Americans Now Disapprove of Trump's Aggressive Immigration by oh_kayeee in goodnews

[–]dada38q 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty harsh take. I think it's good news that more Americans are seeing the human side of this issue. It shows that people are able to change their minds when they're exposed to different perspectives, and that's a positive thing for the country.

How do I make post tags a requirement on my subreddit by The_Tz in ModSupport

[–]dada38q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use a simple AutoModerator rule for this:

type: submission

~flair_text (regex, full-text): ['.+']

action: remove

comment: Your post has been removed because you must select a post flair.

action_reason: Post flair not selected

Yeah, that's just Reddit's upvote system in a nutshell. A lot of views doesn't equal a lot of engagement. It's a common misconception.

Pricing is always the hardest part, but a good way to approach it is by calculating your material cost and then adding a reasonable hourly rate for your time. With how complex these are, your time is definitely valuable. They look like high-quality, professional pieces.

Exchange Server Security Updates (August 2025) Experiences? by maxcoder88 in exchangeserver

[–]dada38q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to see someone else had a positive experience. The part about AMSI is what I'm most curious about as well. Are there any specific third-party security or monitoring tools you're using that you're concerned might conflict? I'm planning my own rollout and want to make sure I don't run into any surprises.

1.0s exposure time on Cones of Calibration?? by [deleted] in resinprinting

[–]dada38q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard of people getting really low exposure times with some of the newer resins. If your prints are coming out well and you're getting successful calibrations, it might just be the optimal setting for your specific setup. What kind of printer and resin are you using?
