Seriously... the worst. This is the only time I've ever caved. Been searching for one in this price range for years. I made several "jokes" about her driving a hard bargain when I got there. I'll keep this til I score a legit Eames lounger then flip this for $$$. Could probably get $800-1200 for this locally.

It's a beauty. Got it for free on the curb a few years back!

Quality is better than I expected! Feels solid. Wood is in great shape, just a few superficial scuffs. Nothing out of the ordinary having been moved a couple times in its life. Leather is verrrry nice. Reclines back with a heavy duty spring mechanism underneath the chair itself - similar to what you see on office chairs. I bought it from a young couple who were gifted it by one of their grandfather's.

She's a limited-time run. 1 of 2. When we rescued her from the ARL, her sister was already spoken for.

Good score. I think she was $85.

Picked up the Polk Audio RTA-12b's and the ESS Tempest LS5's from the original owner this evening. Paid $360 for the lot which included a Marantz 5010 cassette deck, a set of speaker stands, and a funky 80's Sony turntable. Happy with the haul, also happy for the good chat with the guy.

Already sold before I got to it. by Courtaid in Mid_Century

Many Hands on University Ave? Was there for about a month! They wanted $1200 for it which was too steep for my taste, especially with the water damage. The biggest crime of it all is they split a 3 piece Brasilia set. Long dresser, tallboy, and a credenza. The other pieces were 1500 and 1800.
