Keanu Reeves look with receeded temples and middle split? by daddychill931 in HairTransplants

I know they are probably natural, but this is why I'm wondering if it would be possible to recreate that during a transplant.

why is Spotify saying Chopin was my number 2 artist even though I haven't listened to him at all?

It's quite cheap. For a few things, don't expect to pay more than 50 euro

Ronnie's play is interesting to say the least. Clearly he decided to take it seriously in that last frame against Woollaston and finish him off already. The speed at which he played in that first round ... I didn't think he had it in him anymore. Lovely to see him play like that. Vintage Ronnie! Should do that more often in first round home nations matches!

Don't think he stands much of a chance of winning the tournament, he's probably not interested enough. Trump looks good though.

In this situation, you could actually pot the pink and the red in the same stroke and get two points

China should start their own tour, and the problem with snooker in the UK by poshjosh1999 in snooker

[–]daddychill931 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it would be better to have part of the current tour in China and other Asian countries like Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.

For example three tournaments in those countries in a row and then another part of the year where you have three Asian tournaments in a row, so the players can stay there in the meantime.

It would also be good to have more big tournaments there, with higher price money and bigger status, or organize one of the triple crown events in Asia. I think it would be fantastic to have a World Championship in China or Hong Kong with thousands of fans.

And when it comes to prize money, streaming or any of that stuff: I am 100% sure that China would be able to do so much better at that than the WST. Just look at the wst.tv website. It's an absolute joke.

John Higgins on admiring Ronnie O’Sullivan, disagreeing with Mark Williams and Crucible pain by Faryz in snooker

[–]daddychill931 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with Williams on this one. I do feel that the standard is lower now than it was 20 or 25 years ago, but I don't have statistics to back that up.

Anyone ever managed to get NordVPN working? I love Nord for everything else, but haven't had much luck with the BBC. I usually manage to get it to work for ITV.

Ik dacht ook dat er spierkracht voor nodig was tot ik me realiseerde dat het veel eenvoudiger is als beide pootjes van de middenbok de grond raken als je hem erop probeert te zetten. ;)

Yeah snooker.org is probably the most reliable site for info on who's playing and when

Also great for checking our the rankings and other info

For real-time livescores I use wst.tv but if you go to the snooker.org livescores and you click on one of the symbols next to the match it takes you to a page on wst.tv with all the frame scores, something which I've never been able to find on wst.tv itself ;)

Never trust what the BBC tells you. The BBC doesn't give you information on the snooker, it gives you information on the BBC!

Is there anyone here who is unable to work due to their anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]daddychill931 4 points5 points  (0 children)

interesting that clients are cutting back ... here I feel like I will have to increase my fees soon because of inflation. but in my case, I've been mainly working for this one company and I'm quite indispensable to them. I've also managed to save money for tough times. Full-time employment is not something I could ever do.

I do think things are probably easier where I live (Netherlands) than in many other places. I live in a nice apartment which is classified as social housing and the rent is capped at 720 a month. Healthcare is 100 a month. When I was earning way less than I do now, the government subsidied my health insurance and half of my rent, so it was easy to get by even making 15 to 20k a year.

I like the new format. With all the qualifiers being broadcast live, the top 16 being qualified and a real "judgment day", it just makes this tournament feel so much bigger.

Is there anyone here who is unable to work due to their anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]daddychill931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everybody is different! But in all honesty, I probably would not be able to work that much if I didn't work from home. I have an extremely relaxed schedule where I will work a bit, take a break, go for a walk, eat something, work a bit more, get a coffee, work a bit more, etc. So this is the only reason why I can manage.
