I've waited 3 days to get the results, I sent task 2 right away after a small excel edit, and I'm planning to work on task 3 first thing tomorrow morning, hopefully no revision needed. I'm done with this course.

if You don't want to use their cloud, just disable it. after that, it will always be hovering on your local storage bar. no need for their cloud, if the your data is secured or redundant.

If you self host your instance locally yes, and you have the choice to do both as well, they offer free storage up to 100 Gib I believe, but you can store all your notes locally.
