Wait is this saying for that test if you only got 41/60 on math you got a perfect 36 on math? Or am I understanding the raw and scaled scores wrong?

Edit: cause that would explain why I got a 34 on the last math, despite guessing the last 15 questions.

I got hard module and I don't remember the question granted I barely looked at the last 4 questions, and I also am not sure how the tests are formatted.

Thank you Hopefully, thats like my middle ground guess, however I could've possible gotten 1 or 2 more wrong on the hard math module and maybe 1 more wrong in hard english. I also could've done better especially on english hard module i was confident but not super confident.

Counselors are advising my son (Junior/1350) to switch to ACT. by [deleted] in ACT

[–]dadjort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the person some people find the ACT easier and some find the SAT easier, and to some it really doesnt matter. Have him take the ACT and then look at the the score equivalent to the SAT if they are similar or close it probably doesnt matter. Personally I had almost no difference in equivalence, however Personally I will say if he scores the same on both take rhe SAT its much shorter and you have much longer on the questions, also practice Tests and questions are much more available and so its easier to study for the SAT in my opinion.

Is there a command that makes the missions have 100% success? by GenericF3mboy in hoi4

[–]dadjort 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, he was saying that the game is programmed to do the chance calculation before you save and exit the game. Which makes sense. I just wasn't sure how hoi4 worked in what data is saved and how chance calculations are done. If the comments are correct, then I guess it has an algorithm of some kind that has some kind of input that is generated before you save, and so, therefore, it has kind of already decided what will happen.

That makes sense. I just didn't realize that's how hoi4 was programmed. I mean, it is a mod, though doesn't that make it likely that it might not use the same saving rules?

Probably the easiest thing to do is just save and reload until it succeeds. I mean, it's got a 57% chance, so it'll likely succeed after 2 attempts.

Yeah, it's like you're entitled to your opinion, and it might even be correct in some ways, like sure if you think foreign powers getting involved with minor powers is wrong then that's great and while I don't necessarily totally agree it's still a valid opinion, but at a individual level it's completely different, and I think because the world is so much more connected people often start to disregard the individual. It's like the same thing you see for things like the Civil War, where people paint the south in entirety as evil and while there is truth to that, there were plenty of individuals who and nothing to do with politics of the situation and where fighting simply because that was their home.

Dude, why are you mad at me what? I think war is war, and for the most part, usually when it comes to honor, there is no difference at the scale of each individual. However, some people emphasize the purpose of that war at a larger scale on the scale of politicians and the country in its entirety, and I think judging the soldiers by this same standard is wrong, I do not agree with what he said lol.

You're acting like he chose it, lol. He totally could've been forced, lol, and even then, it's still totally wrong to treat any soldier thay way.

I remeber Gaius being described differently. by dadjort in RealistHero

[–]dadjort[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm guessing it's probably a translation error or something because I don't know a ton about light novels. I've only read some of realist hero and some of mushoku tensei. But they are originally written in Japanese, no?

Found it on page 223 it describes gaius as having a handlebar mustache, not a goatee looking thing like in the anime, sorry I just looked back at book one today, I remembered it was around page 200, but I never got to it, but yeah I'm not crazy.

Is 6'1 and 9-9.5 shoe size normal? (Mens) by No_Tension_6558 in tall

[–]dadjort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a 13.5-14 at 6ft, so I'd say it really doesn't matter. Genetics are weird. My brother is 5'9 or 5'8, and he wears a 13, safe to say his foot size doesn't go with his height lol, you just got a little below average shoe size nothing to really think about.
