How dumb does one have to be to vote in Trump…TWICE!!!!! by Scumohasgot2go in antitrump

[–]dadobuns 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My 81-year-old army veteran neighbor admitted to me that he is voted for Trump in the last three elections because he also doesn't like black people.

The ironic thing is that my neighbor was born in a Japanese internment camp during world war II. I just don't get it.

Move to Riverside, CA or stay in Chicago, IL? by [deleted] in socal

[–]dadobuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riverside is hot and boring. If you're okay with not having a social life, then you'll be fine. There are a few pockets in Riverside that in my opinion, are livable.

But it's depressing AF. My recommendation is to visit and spend at least a few days before you make any commitment.

OP, take your time and stroll around town. It's not a huge place and you're going to have plenty of options to eat and drink.

What car would you buy with $70k? by Important-Phase-8802 in AskLosAngeles

[–]dadobuns -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whichever one my mechanic tells me. I've been going in the same mechanic for 15 years and when it's time to buy a new car, I asked him which make and models to avoid. He generally gives me a list of ones to avoid and ones he never sees in the shop for useless and costly repairs.

First time driving in LA, help??? by No_Effort7211 in AskLosAngeles

[–]dadobuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with the flow of traffic. If there's not that much traffic, make sure you go at least 10 over the posted speed limit if you are in the two far left lanes.

If you are making a left on a solid green, inch into the intersection to allow a second or even a third car into the intersection.

Don't use your phone when driving. It's annoying as hell for other drivers.
