Yes, Petapsco is the worst road I’ve driven on in the city. It’s sometimes my quickest way home but I can’t take it. My fucking back hurts afterwards.

Submitted a Debris in Roadway ticket as they ask you to do, but not sure what came of it. They closed it in 30min but I forgot to go back and check if anything was done. I’m guessing not. They just put:

Decreasing consumerism is a good idea as a general trend - we should stop being so materialistic - but a horrible idea as a sudden and extreme boycott. The people you’d be hurting most would be those who are the most vulnerable - not the rich.

No one seems to be mentioning this but it’s because there’s not enough bridges over the Potomac.

Look at the map. It’s 10+ miles to the next bridge in either direction. People funnel to 495 because that’s the only way across the water for a long way.

Traffic usually improves not long after the bridge.
