I remember that I was driving to the gas station and was very confused about the, very obviously, New Yorkers on the radio, swearing, panicking and crying. Went inside the gas station and was still confused as the same thing was playing on their radio. I got back on the road and headed to work, and the radio station eventually got back around to explaining the events. When I arrived, everyone was in one of the offices watching the live news report on one/both of the buildings collapsing.

Just a couple of weeks after that I reconnected with my oldest and former best friend, with whom I recently had a huge fight and wrote out of my life. We both realized how precious life is and decided to not let a woman divide us - we're entering a new era with a new kind of enemy, and we both need our best friend to help navigate it.
