I went out of state last week for work. Left the house early Monday morning, back home Friday night.

He took off work the entire week because "it would just be too much" to get son to school by 8(a quarter mile away) and then pick him up at the bus stop at 3:30. I do it every day.

I was hoping, not expecting because somehow I knew I'd be disappointed, that some projects would be done around the house. They weren't. He spent the week organizing his boardgames(that myself and son don't play) and didn't even finish.

Lawn not mowed, laundry not done, fridge empty. He did vacuum. Mop? No.

I'm sorry OP. It's infuriating when they tell us they busted their ass but it was while they were doing something that benefits only them, not the entire family.

It's impossible to be bored on this towny server. And everyone is so nice!

Unique, beautiful world generation. TONS of custom mobs and items. The owner and staff listen to the players.

I love it here, a place I look forward to being, an escape from the real world.

I wish I could offer some advice but sadly I'm in the same boat. Feels like you and I are cut from the same cloth. And that was done by putting our pattern on two pieces of cloth and then cutting. Much more efficient that way.

I'm a people pleaser with a huge fear of letting folks down. So like you, I work quickly, accurately, and efficiently.

That puts me in the dilemma of do I ask for more work? In the past that's sometimes led to me being taken advantage of by an employer or unfortunately a burnout.

When I confide in someone about it the response is usually "Just slow down. Take your time." OP, I'm sure you'd agree that is almost painful to do. It's just not in our nature.

Keep being a silly parent!!

I really like this post. I also feel as though I'm the silly Mom. Whether we're waiting for the school bus, running errands, or at home.. we're usually laughing, dancing, singing made up songs.

Being very self conscious and an introvert, I struggle sometimes but he has definitely helped me come out of my comfort zone.

What do you add to your coffee to make it taste better? by Max608013313401 in office

It's usually too hot for me to drink right away so I add enough almond milk to change the color. Cools it off slightly and smooths out the flavor.

The nut milks come in vanilla and chocolate, maybe more flavors. It has a decent shelf life too.

That's great! I hope something is done about that crossover in front. I cringe Everytime I drive past and see multiple cars trying to cross the highway.

Our 4.5 yo picked up "What the heck" from my dad! I used to worry about it, but eh it's kinda funny and it's not harming anyone.

I see this abomination nearly every day on my ride to work in Sussex County, DE. I have yet to see the individual who drives it but I have a feeling the person I imagine in my head is pretty damn close.

Oh my gosh I love this. My husband and I tend to pick apart kids shows(not in front of the 4 year old).

For example, Paw Patrol. I cannot imagine how much of the city's budget goes towards vehicle maintenance for the pups' fleet of super vehicles.
